Can you guys do a video that covers thread and needle sizes?

Hi. How do I open the center walking foot on the 3200 so that I can see the needle better. I have seen Bruce Cheaney do this and this will help considerably if we can do the same........ We have 6 Union Lock and Campbell machines and oddly they will also come with a closed foot if we need to replace them. We have to mill out the front to make the awl ( in the case of needle awl machines) visible when we stitch. This is of utmost importance for accuracy for us. Many thanks for your videos. We have recently acquired a 3200 and this is a concern at present as to how much of the foot we can take away. Thanks.

Would the synthetic oil give you a longer duration of time between having to oil?

Well that made me decide NOT to buy this machine. Others are less complicated on their oiling schedule.
