BennyCFD yup. This was just a quick and easy way, but indeed you are right. With a bit more masking, I could've made the "ripped" part a different color, and much more realistic.
Mango it’s a Lynx S60 and Vinyl Express. It’s an old version which Win 7 PRO won’t support, so I have to use an old XP machine. The file, if memory serves, came with a software bundle. Which, I can’t remember.
I make all the stencils that I use in my vids. You could make you own by using "transfer tape" and the technique I illustrate here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RT3Cu9aOjac.html If you like, you could find a vinyl sign shop, and have them cut out whatever designs you want in a "paint mask" vinyl. Paint mask is low tack and designed to come back off without leaving residue, and the same goes for transfer tape. I buy my transfer tape from Advantage Sign & Graphics-because they have a "brick and mortar" store near me. In this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xTxC1r7SkP8.html I paint torn metal using only "torn" pieces of masking tape...Hope this helps!!
