+Melon Shala There are high school animation classes? Wish I had those at my high school, I majored in Animation in college but I would've killed to do stuff like this before moving 1000 miles away from home and paying a ton of money for it.
I know (I'm in 7th Grade) that there's an animation module in our Technology class, I have no idea if my teacher shows DWD. I might have to make a suggestion.
One thing I love about Draw With Jazza is that all the lessons are consistent. Even if he explains something in a previous lesson, even if it's obvious, he still treats each lesson like it could be the viewer's first. That's awesome.
An 20 minute episode of an anime takes about a week to animate, but as everyone says it`s made by a group of peopole usually around 30-50 but it varies a lot if the budget is smaller or bigger.
I would love to have you as an animation teacher. I took animation class last year, and no lie the teacher told me she knew absolutely nothing of this material. She hammered us with so much work with expectations of us getting 4 projects done within a 40min class, sad to say I dropped the class. I do have this question though, in this video do you use a drawing pad/tablet?
Since I got in university and started engaging more with any kind of design there (drawing, animation, sound, graphics), my interest for watching other people's artwork has significantly grown. You, sir, are making some amazing stuff and I really enjoy your tutorials and your videos in general. I find the content on your channel really inspiring and interesting. You have a new subscriber who is looking forward to seeing more of your work! :)
Just a suggestion that won't matter to anybody: when Hulk stomps his foot down, there should be a tiny puff of dust. I think it'd help with the stomping thing, but I know this comment will never be seen by anybody.
depending on if you have a team or not an animation can take YEARS. Even for family guy it takes 9 MONTHS to mkae ONE episode (they work on multiple episodes at a time though). Although if you make a SERIOUS animation as a single animator that can take up to 2 YEARS for a 2 MINUTE animation (hand drawn).
it takes 1 year to make 1 season of family guy because they work on every episode in the season at the same time and thats not just animation its voice acting coming up with comedy ideas writing scripts ect
Love the way you explain everything necessary, so detailed :) I started from watching Oneyng's tutorials lol definitely got me started even though he's really silly most of the time, but now that I found your channel I can't really make my animations more advanced :) Thank you so much Jazza !!!!!!!!!!!!
User454 Nice, I aced my arabic project and english project, and A- my social studies project, but I barely had time to study for my math test so I bombed it :(
This is one of the tutorials that made me a fan of this channel. Then I got hold of Jazza’s epic work “Tale Teller” -truly profound work from a multi-faceted artist. Thank you for educating and equally so, inspiring many of us Jazza with your unrelenting creative ideas and drive to see those ideas to fruition.
*Draw with Jazza* I have been demoralized from making any RU-vid videos anymore. You have remoralized me to make videos. I don't have many subscribers so I was just demoralized from making another video. You gave me courage to try and make art videos. If I had never found/heard of your channel... I would just be sitting here, all day, watching videos and not making any. Thanks Jazza!
those are actually torn yoga pants. dr. banner grew tired of having to constantly purchase new pants every time he transformed so he purchased them in advance of anticipated transformations (ie. visiting mother in law, visiting the post office/dmv, rush hour traffic, etc)
Really nice video Jazza! I found your channel a couple of days ago and I love it, and I also want to start doing this! I love how you made this tutorial, you explained everything that I needed to know and you were very beginner friendly. Nice work!
That last bump shows the difference between digital animation effects, and drawn frames. Human work is still worth it, no matter what corporations think.
Delve Well, people can draw whatever they want. Tweeting can be done well, and they get to choose if they want to take an easier route, or a harder route. It really depends on how quickly you want content to be produced.
Sick, I'm like a total noob, I just like to draw / paint, but video's like these give me insight into how much time it takes to make a cartoon like lets say Avatar or Dragonball Z. But how the hell can they make Anime's with like 300+ episodes ? It takes SO much effort and time o,O sick.
Banana The Dragon yes, and TV animators use motion tweens for most of their series. And earlier shows like Spongebob (which I think might have debuted in 1994 but I'm not sure) used hand drawn for season 1 and they were made with traditional art.
I just wanted to say that you are my whole childhood, i remember watching your videos, thinking how cool you were and how much i wanted to be like you!You have inspired and grew my love for art!
+Draw with Jazza i just wanted to say a couple of series suggestions ,for example maybe there could be one were you critique artists work what they send to you like say things that should be changed point out important features. also when you make drawings like for the random ones that people vote on they can draw there own and send it to you also how do i send art work to you if you do take my ideas i love your artwork and think you are a great inspiration keep up the amazing vids!!
+Riged S I'm just starting animation myself. I'd recommend watching AlanBeckerTutorial's video series on the 12 princibles of animation. It is a very good starting point. Otherwise I'd just say practice. Decide whether you want to do 2d or 3d then just jump right in once you find a program on your budget.
Hi Jazza I love your videos, and still can't believe how good you are at art. But I have a request? (Of course, it's your choice though.) If you took a pencil, use only one stroke to create an object or person (and you can't go over lines you already drew), then use the random 3 color generator to choose your colors, then color in the thing you drew? Just an idea.
Just realized that THIS is actually the first video I've seen of yours, a very long time ago. But I've recently gotten into your channel and never realized you made this video!
Master Jazza, I'm starting late (I'm 43) but I discovered a brand new world with drawing and 2d animation. I bought a Wacom (such a great tool) and for animation, I couldn´t afford Harmony then I bought Moho Pro 12. What you think about it? Do you plan to make some tutorial about this software? Do you have some pal doing that? Did I make a wrong choice? .... I stop writing questions because you'll never got the time to answer them all! lol Maybe just one... what's the best workflow to go from paper to animated digital art? (I think I've shorten the path buying the wacom paper edition).
Draw with Jazza Nice, that masking tween is pretty goddamn bad-ass! I'll certainly need to watch this a few times and get this down because my main character goes from a Caucasian to a big red demon and this is the PERFECT tutorial to learn how to do that. One point though that I think would take up the drama of this piece though, Bruce Banner's clothes are already ripped up at the start of this. I think it would add a lot to the intensity if they started in tact and were shown getting shredded and burst out of. Plus your little dust cloud animation (perhaps with added ground cracking and pebbles flying up) would have been a good added effect for when he stomps down to really emphasize the power Hulk has. Great job, I'll be watching this again in the future.
while i agree with you i chose not to do the clothes since it would add way too many advanced things in the tutorial. thanks for your feedback though! and I'm really glad you found it helpful!
This is so helpful I have never found a video as helpful at animation as this!!! Ooh and I have seen toons and tooons of video but non have been as depth and so detailed as this one , but easy to remember as welll !!! Thank u jazza, as a person that is wanting to learn how to animate , this video has actually made me want to animate even more, and I love how u explain in this video. This video actually motivate me to stop being a lazy ass and actually start animating something!!! Thank u, and I am certainly subscribing to ur channel after this video. Love u and all of ur vids. Everything u do is really helpful to me as a young artist and mabey I will become a great animater. I will never forget this video !!!!👏👏👏👍
he specializes in cartoons not trying to diss be he did a realism challenge and didnt do that great but of course im no where near his skill in either xd but a person like mark crilley would be perfect for the jobs
I remember in 9th grade where it took me 4 1/2 days of only 1 hour classes to make a 400(Required) animation on our own without help. Luckily, I had this video to help. I got an A+ and that teacher now plays it to every class he has. Thank you Jazza!
Thank you so much for this tutorial Jazza, we are doing a transformation for 2D assessment and though our teacher is awesome, I'm not even sure if he knows this technique to get the skin colour to change. You have saved me from doing some tedious colour mixing! Thank you for all your hard work! I promise to support you financially as soon as I'm not a broke student as you have taught me more than so many teachers. You rock all the socks there ever were :D
That was amazing... Very intense use of colors... The shading really helped the Hulk character stand out!.... I dig the software!... This is something new to me.... Looks easy to manage.. Wow! Thank you! …❤😀
I found you because of this video,it was on facebook. And from there you inspired me to try to step out of my comfort zone. Now I am trying to find my own style instead of what I have been doing, which is drawing more realistic drawings. Thank you for all that you do.
Draw with Finchy yes but get a sketch book and re-draw them and get a different paper re-draw them again sing them and sell fo 1.00 or just give them away its up to you (im also 10 so if I misspeld some words thats why)
I guess... but make sure you write your name on the bottom right corner because I didn't once and the girl I gave it to was telling people she drew it.
Zac Finch hey if you are g giving your artwork to your friends at school write your signature so people can know who drew it cause there are art thieves
Luz Bonano that happen to me too art class one of my friends asked me to help them with their artwork and I said sure and then my friend told me not to cuz she's the type of girl who's going to say she did but didn't I think is because that I I'm the only one who loves and everyone else is not that interesting sorry for the long comment here's a potato :P
TMAV // Tornado Meet A Volcano yeah but still the most realistic stuff he does are still pretty comic booky. Nothing like zhc. But I’m not saying that jazza isn’t good, and yeah he is a jack of all trades.
We all like something to listen to when doing something, Jazza likes listening to audio books when drawing and animating, I like listening to Jazza's videos when drawing and building in Minecraft...
