if you dont know what layers are, they are for making really DETAILED drawings. (or animations) for example, if you make a mistake on a layer you made, you can erase the mistake without ruining the the whole drawing/animation on layer 1, 2, 3, etc. This helps me and saves alot of time. This video also helped me make some smooth animations (tho my anims still look wonky) Keep up the great work!
*Software gets dark mode* Everyone right after it comes out: EWWW! I’ve never used light mode, light mode is disgusting even though I’ve had this app even before it had dark mode.
Very nice. Been looking for animation apps for my iPad to practice the principles of animation and i've got to say this is pretty good. Thanks. Definitely helps. Also I like chicken too , it's great.
I've been using flip a clip for a while, and I'm currently working on an animation meme, and I didn't know you could use the selection tool to copy, you are a life saver,it would have taken SO much longer
Ok...but you can't actually see if I did or didn't I mean u can't just go to someone's search unless you hacked and you know that would be stupid and a wasting of time like how you did in this commit and honey learn to take a joke and lol I didn't search it I did it on my own lol 😂😂😂
@SmoothBonBon ok so u still came here and committed like what I committed was a bad and wasn't real and when you replied to my comment you sounded like you came here to start some beef or something and girl you do not want to catch these hands and you know what I'm done with this it was a waste of my time anyways
@@3izaa "if you didn't want to see the content that was in the title, you wouldn't have clicked on the video" is what they mean. And this isn't directed towards you by the way I'm just explaining what @Lucy actually meant, sorry if I come off as rude, that's not my intention:)

oh i have a tip for this. i draw like the basic character on paper and then ither take a photo of my drawing or scan it in to my computer. then i add it to what ever it is im useing to animate and then just eddit the picture form there.
These comments annoy me. Not being able to draw isn't cool. If you really want to animate and can't draw you wouldn't complain, you would practice drawing and if that doesn't work out maybe it isn't for you.
@@AnasAnimations hi I want to become animator 1 day and I’m 10 this is the easiest way to animate in my experience I’m using this and downloading it right now
Pro tip: if you double tap the lasso tool (the thing where u can select stuff,) it selects everything on that layer. That makes it a lot easier to delete or move stuff
@@Tetopettenson1 Same. A bit more detailed than normal Stickmans, but still stick people. It doesn’t matter your art style, it matters how good the animation is.
Love this! My old work flow used to be: - design characters in software that allows me to export with transparency - i used infinite design for this - import in flipaclip - move em around, making good use of copy and paste and the various selection tools in flipaclip These days i have been drawing on my ipad more than the android devices i had before, so now i do the drawings in procreate - there's actually an animation assist feature that simplifies the work flow. But for more complicated stuff though, I'd still use a combination of procreate+ flipaclip (this might change in november when procreate dreams comes out 😅)
For those who don't know what onion skin is it's basically your previous frame before the one your currently on, it can help with movements like walking and waving (I'm a stickman animator and I use to use flipaclip)
“U-um, I like chicken” is now going to be my formal way of introducing myself and no one can stop me Edit: lol I used this introduction a few days ago and I now have 2 friends, thank you Ana
I know right and when your moving a drawing to one side it get all blurry and your just to lazy to redraw it so you just leave it like that and it looks ugly. 😔
a tip for people who don’t have the pro version, if you want one extra layer, take the beginning animation of the squirrel, copy it and erase all of the layers, so now instead of 3 layers you have 4
I don’t know what you do, who you are, or why I clicked on this video. But I subbed not even 1 minute in just cuz of”I like the dark theme bc it helps my eyes not burn off when I’m animating at 3am”.😂😂😂😂😂😅
Thanks! This will probably help a lot because at first i was wanting (and struggling) to animate with autodesk sketchbook mobile (i WOULD like procreate but I'm on Android)...
This was very helpful I have been wanting to animate for a while so I started using Adobe animate but just couldn’t catch on to it. I’m so glad I found this video because your animations are just as good as Jaiden’s animations in my opinion. Thank you so much for making this video and you now have a new subscriber!
