Hi Justin, CSCS don't offer or provide tests or qualifications, the prices of which can vary from provider to provider. We simply issue CSCS cards off the back of approved applications. Currently, all CSCS cards cost £36 or are free in the case of the Apprentice card, while CITB Health, Safety and Environment tests are £22.50. Thanks

In terms of other courses and qualifications used as part of applications, this will depend on the validity length of the qualification in question. What did they say because I have the same yet there saying I still have to do the health and safety course which is £150 when you need to pass health and safety to be able to pass your bricklaying diploma. Don’t make sense that they don’t accept the bricklaying diploma certificate.

Hi there, CSCS don't issue certificates or any form of qualifications, we simply verify them and issue cards off the back of those applications. The issuer of the certificate should be able to assist further. Thanks

Hi there, Holding a CSCS card is not a legal requirement and it is entirely up to the principal contractor or client whether workers are required to hold a valid card before they are allowed on site. However, most principal contractors and major house builders require workers on their sites to hold a valid CSCS card. Thanks
