Hi, Thank you for reaching out. CeraVe Hydrating Sunscreen is a 100% mineral filter sunscreen. Mineral sunscreens utilize titanium and/or zinc oxide particles to form a barrier that reflects the sun's rays away from the skin. Because the ingredients stay on the surface of your skin, a white cast can sometimes remain after applying the product. We suggest applying a small amount in the palm of your hands and rubbing them together. Then, apply to one small area at a time, rubbing well. The formula should apply easily leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel. Keep in mind, all sunscreens should be applied liberally for sun protection.

@@cerave It's odd to me that people, especially a skincare company are still saying that mineral sunscreens "reflect the sun's rays". I know that this comment is 5 years old, but I feel like this was debunked long before that.
