Hi George, stunning tank. I have a tank just a tall. The choice of plants is helping me rethink my layout (scape) at the moment. Crypts grow well in the lower light. I wish I had your long arms! I nearly have climb into mine when reach the bottom. This video is very good. Please do more setups. Cheers

Interesting scape. That piece of wood works well and keeps the eye moving up and around the tank. Also adds alot of texture which I like.

I CANNOT WAIT to see the update on this tank once it grows out! About half way through the planting I started thinking what a beautiful tank for South American fish like Angels :) I would love to see some pearl scale marbles. The pearl scale on their round bodies would look amazing as they wander in and out of the shade. Also a shoal of both black and white skirt tetras. Though common and not the showiest of fish, they are incredibly fun to watch in a large tank with so many open-ended hiding places within vegetation. Yet another impressive aquascape. Please keep this great content coming George!

Scape is beautiful, I was thinking a lot more stem plants for a tall tank but I see you filled it in with structure so that you dont really have to do that. Thanks for teaching us your ways.

thank you for the lovely video, ive got a vision 260 its quite tall 60cm and after a disease outbreak its needs a complete scrub down but this has giving me nice ideas i defo need those tweezers! (kitchen tongs dont work!) i think i would put few of my lyretail tortoiseshell swordtails in there, the orange and red would stand out great against the green and black, bamboo shrimp perhaps some bose, or feathered rainbows or maybe some cardinals ..

I agree, I think Angel Fish would look fantastic in that tank.

Need to do more tall 'scapes. This one is gorgeous. It really is a challenge to scape a tall tank. I am still not happy with my 65 at all. Everyone else likes it but I don't - not yet. And you should do a Paludarium!

I love that piece of wood, it looks like a withered dead hand that's pointing at something as a warning to passers by.

Glowlight Danio. The tanks got a lid, so that answers the jumping issue and they are active swimmers. They are also brightly coloured which you need with all the dark areas and black background.

At the beginning of this video I really didn't think I'd like this tank, because it's such an odd shape. But oh my goodness, this is definitely in my top five favorite tanks that you've scaped!! It turned out wonderfully, and it is absolutely stunning. I really hope you do an update video on this later, because I'd love to see how it looks once it fills in. Great job, George! As for fish, I'd love to see a huge school of smaller fish in there, maybe serpae tetras, gold barbs, Odessa barbs or purple emperor tetras? Or a combination of a few different species? (Odessa barbs are my top pick.) This tank almost looks otherworldly to me, and I'm afraid putting any large fish in there would ruin that effect. Though I'm sure angelfish would be stunning in here as well!

Great scape and very informative! It may sound strange.. but I love a large aquarium with tiny fish! I feel it makes the scape that much more of the focal point. Maybe Celestial Pearl Danios?

Very beautiful scape. If it were mine I would go with platinum angelfish, and because it has a lid hatchetfish.

Really nice aquascape, fantastic piece of wood. You've created an interesting shaded area under the root that has good visibility from the front of the tank - would go with some fish that likes that and could disappear easily in a different layout. Could see a school of glass cats hanging out there during the day for example. Or elephant nose, black ghost knifefish perhaps..

Once again George you've done it! This tall tank with the bog wood makes it. Fish? Discus, discus or DISCUS. If not angels for sure. BTW love the outtakes, perhaps a compilation soon?

Not a topic that gets covered a lot but yes, how to scape a tall(er) tank style. Awesome job and hilarious bloopers at the end lol.

Another amazing scape! You filled the height really well and as usual put a big variety of plants without making it look unnatural. What variety of bolbitis is that? I have bought bolbitis twice and have one plant that grows large elongated fronds, and another where the leaflets on the fronds are much more rounded. Not sure if it's the difference in conditions or if there are a few varieties that are commonly available in the hobby. I would like to see that tank stocked with fish that move around and explore the big piece of driftwood! The movement from light to shadow and back again would be really cool I think, but I'm undecided on which species would do that but also be plant/scape safe. Not barbs or loaches! Maybe one of the larger rasbora species?

Great work really like the hardscape in this one must be amazing in person can’t wait for an update video on this tank. Noticed that it has 2 filters on that tank what was the reasoning for this? Or is it just for more filtration? Congrats also on 40k followers.

1- This aquascape is absolutely STUNNING! 2- The dimensions of the tank look original, great design that maintains the practicality. What would be the minimum budget for something in the likes of this one? 3- Angelfish? Heck yeah! Corydora would have a hard time with all those bottom plants, so those I would exclude. To emphasize the height, maybe Hatchetfish. For the middle column, a nice school of Rummynose (not sure if they're big enough not to get eaten though) and tall bodied tetras of the Hyphessobrycon family. Keep on Scaping 🐟🌿

Wasn't sure if I'd like the taller tank but turned out to look great! I'd like to see some German Blue Rams in there if he's not keeping shrimp and also some five banded barbs which in a group of 7 or so shoal well and are non aggressive unlike some other barbs. Look forward to seeing an update in a few months! :-)

Looks a good size for some Congo tetra, though small shrimp are out. It’s quite a dark tank with the shade of the wood and the black backing. You would need something that has a bit of colour to make sure you see them. Bleeding heart tetra..... Gourami.... hard to say.

Great job! my 150 is 30" inch high / tall so i really want some huge piece of wood and dragon stone. I would love it if you could post the websites where you obtained your hard -scape for aquariums.

Hey George,when I get my Tank set up,I will make a Vlog of the set up.When setting up a Aqua scape,is it better to fill up with Distilled water?I heard using this water ,its Ph Nuetral.And use a cup full of Aquarium water ,its has good bacteria already in it.I had Aquariums before,and had jumpers before.Jurjis said get Livebearing fish that dont jump.I think Mollies are a good choice.Keep in touch.
