If you're asking for yourself, then go try it for yourself and you'll have your answer. Everyone is different so anyone else's opinion will be based on their own individual experience, athletic history, understanding and passion.
I believe the flow is Palm Spin Mount - Coffee Grinder - Ledge Kip. And YES I can do a tutorial on that, it's a pretty easy combo but for beginners it's a great way to build control and focus! =)
That's one way to think of it if you have those two tricks down solid. I wasn't sure if people would understand that concept but it seems someone does!! =)))
i've been watching your videos for a while, idk if this is just me but it seems like your having more fun with your videos now =] i like it just thought i'd say that
I feel confident going for a standing full, I can arabaian, haven't mastered it yet but they are pretty easy, I will try them next time I got to the gym :)
Some brilliant tutorials (thumbs up), kyle. I could do with some advice on landing a front flip in a standing position rather than a squat position lol
i just dont understand why people ask for tutorials that youve made already AND can easily be found by searching through youtube for it. but anyways thanks for these, i jump to far back for both moves but i can do them off of things. will practice these soon for sure.
DinoArmy13. I started off doing it off a block and gradually got lower until I was flat. You can also ask someone to spot you! The least that can happen is landing on your knees which didn't hurt a boy! Good luck
I honestly never listen to my own music but my friends always tell me that they really enjoy it. But when I listen to music its either whatever's on spotify or pandora.
Hi Epic! Could you do a tutorial for an Aerial axe kick? In case you aren't sure what I'm talking about , it's a cheat aerial in which you turn your hips forward so you land similarly to a front walkover and finish with an axe kick.
No. Aftwer.. A webster is a frontflip from one foot, so you need to have the two footed frontflip down first obviously. ;) When you go for front flip remember to get height and commit to the tuck, you have to keep it tucked for a bit longer than you think.
A couple weeks ago, I landed the back full, and I thought I had it mastered. The next day I went back outside to do it again, but I couldn't come up with the nerve to throw it. Any suggestions how to get over the fear??
kyle awesome video! it realy helped me but the thing is that i can do a full on a trampoline and whenever i go to grass or somthing i get scard and i barley make half of the twist what can i do to get over the fear?
When I do an Arabian I can never seem to tuck. I always end up spinning 180 degrees and landing on my lower back. Will this be resolved with practice or am I doing something wrong?
hey, epic ! I have also a question for you... I can do Gainer and Angel Gainer, but when I try to do Flash Gainer or Cheat Gainer all what's happens is that i dont have enough high and i land on my chest, knees(one time on head :)) ) ... What do you think i should try? P.S: I am Left-handed ...
Hey Epic :) this tutorial is being a huge reference for me every time I get into some troubles with these moves, but now I just got a serious one with the arabian especially, and with any arabian like motion (cartwheel front flip for instance) it has been the third time I snaped out my shoulder because of this motion, with my arm just staying up un the air, while my upper body actually tucking down as intended. I have good fulls (not standing fulls but I can finish out a combo with fulls pretty easily) so I'm actually thinking about never doing any arabian-like motion to preserv my shoulder (it kinda sucks when it comes to the third time :/ don't want to screw my shoulder up for ever)... I was thinking what if you had any tips for me or if you had ever seen someone getting through the same problem as me, how can I recover from it to redo thoses moves and should I ? Again, thx for all your work for us, it's amazing, keep it up :)
I can do a backflip 360 but I cannot do Arabians. - I would advise following or atleast trying a lot of what Kyle said though. Try learn an Arabian first rather than 360 :P I took many tumbles learning the other first.
KYLE PLEASE HELP ME THIS TRICK IS IRRELEVANT TO THE VIDEO BUT I NEED HELP WITH MY BUTTERFLY TWISTS. FOR SOME REASON I CAN DIP TO HAVE A BIG VERTICAL HEIGHT, BUT MY LEGS WON'T STAY STRAIGHT DURING THE HORIZONTAL SPIN, SO IT TURNS INTO A LOW PARAFUSO. I CANT WRAP MY LEGS EITHER KYLE PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS TRICK I TRIED WATCHING ALL YOUR B TWIST TUTORIALS BUT IT DIDNT REALLY HELP ME AS MUCH. Please respond Kyle... Thanks.
hey kyle, im having trouble with my front flips, everytime i go for the move i always fall on my ass, could it be because im not tucking hard enough or could it be because my jump isn't high enough? what advice do u have for me? greetings from South Africa! thanks =)) -Okeyo
Master them progressions otherwise you're absolutely gonna land wrong. Rushing the skill won't teach you how to land it, you want to be in control, not just throw yourself and hope that you'll magically land on your feet.
***** Indeed, excuse when I perform my full I land on my hand or land on feet then fall. Mostly I land on my hand. Please Kyle answer this question. I wish to know what I'm doing wrong. Arigato.
Hattori Sasuke Get your basics down... if you're barely landing it, you still have some practicing to do. You gotta feel the movement. Understand the physics behind it. It's more than just trying to throw your body and hoping you'll land.
He means the take off not the landing. Coming into the frontflip with your feet separated like you would for a kong or how a lot of people do for their sideflips.
Im having trouble. When i do the arabian i turn to my right side for it, but when i go for the full i feel more comfortable doing it on my left. With that being said im not used to doing the arabian on my left. How can i fix that.
Epic: I've been getting into twists finally and I've been learning fulls. I can do them out of a cartwheel but generally I like to have tricks controlled standing as well. My issue is that when I am doing the full standing I cannot get the full twist, only 3/4 and I believe it has something to do with the way I wrap. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
Walk yourself through the motions. You didn't give me enough to know what you're doing wrong, but honestly, it could always be one or both of two things... JUMP HIGHER, SPIN FASTER... if that's ever the case it could be your timing or you may be holding back on a specific detail of the overall motion.
***** It may be a height issue. But it seems like its more likely the way i'm twisting. I feel like the way I am wrapping is limiting my rotation. I jump up then try to punch my armpit, but as I approach that 3/4 twist i feel like I'm slowing down.
yo epic i can loser flip and Webster and i have a decent backflip but i cant front flip like the parkour way would you recommend that i try Arabian and then later on fulls.
DinoArmy13 Check the progression I mention in here for the actual backflip. It should give you a better understanding. =) TUTORIAL - Back Flip (Back Tuck)
this has nothing to do with this tutorial but how could I land my frontflip properly because I get height and I tuck but I still land on my butt/feet What should I do Thank you you are epic
Am I the only one to notice that he twists to the _left_ in the intro, towards his leg without the support band, but in the clip at 1:33 he's clearly twisting to the _right_. The video isn't mirrored either; the text on his shirt still faces the right way in both clips.
hey i have problem with my twisting i like to twist to my left but i cartwheel to my right and also sideflip to my right how can i fix that so i can twist and do combos
DANG IT!!!! I do it right the first 3 tomes i do it, but then i screw up and either under rotate or dont get enough spin. What the heck is wrong with me!?!?
A cork is a horizantal spin and the full(backflip 360) is a vertical spin with a flip. Cork has no flip to it... unless you're Tim Farley with a cork-in-back-out.
A cork is a cheat gainer (think of it like a webster backflip) with a 360 spin in the middle. The difference is that the cork is forward-moving, and the spin is horizontal, not vertical.
