Sharing how we assemble my Adjustment of Status Application Packet 2023 (Form I-485) together with my Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765) and Application for Travel Document/Advance Parole (Form I-131). This video might help you if you are now in the process or have a plan to apply for a green card under fiance visa (K1).

Asides from Photos Together for your Proof of Relationship you can also add some evidences like Joint Bank Account Statement, Rental Agreement (with your name together), Car and Health Insurance, Utility Bills such as electricity, cable, internet, gas, water (with your name together).

Great video!! Very informative. But I'm a bit confused here. So in the cover letter for i-485 form, I can see you added details from form i-864. My question is, are we putting both form i-485 and form i-864 into one envelope, since the cover letter has the table of contents for both forms?

Hi! Sorry if you got confused. I just forgot to delete the form I-864 in my form I-485 cover letter, but I got no problem on that. I did put them in separate envelope.

Im bit puzzled - the form I-131 & I-765 - Are those optional & not mandatory? The form I- 485 - & I -864 are the major core if Im not mistaken. I-313 permits person to just travel out & I-764 is if someone wants to work sooner than later. Thanks for sharing

You can pay the fee with a money order, personal check, cashier's check, or pay by credit card using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions.

Hello Char! I am a bit confused about the I-131 form for Advanced Parole. I brought my now wife on K-1, and am in process of completing the AOS. I-131 asks question Part 3 - Intended departure date, length of trip, and part 4- purpose of trip. As I said, I brought my fiance, now wife with K-1, 3 months ago, and we are completing AOS. We have no planned trip, so is this form only if we have a confirmed/planned trip already, or is this Advanced Parole needed to travel even once green card is received? Thank you!

Hi. If you don't have any plan to travel outside US, you may not apply for that. Once your wife have greencard, she may not need it. But just in case the approval of her green card takes a long time, she can use it to travel.

I just include my proof of relationship (just our wedding photos with the witness) in Form I-485 I already have my SSN and we applied for that after we got married.

The medical we did to our home country prior traveling to US is valid for a year. USCIS will request for Form I693 if your medical is expired when you apply AOS.

Hi, me and my husband are doing the advanced parole, then adjustment of statues. He only has his daca no visa. I understand everything that has to be mailed. But are we supposed to file for a petition before mailing out all of the adjustment of statues documents? Because we don’t have a petition approval. Hi Kasey, Now that your husband went to Mexico and came back to the US he is eligible for AOS. Here are the main applications needed for adjustment of status and optional ones. ******All this documents can be sent at the same time to speed up the process. ******* I-765 and i-131 can be sent later for free but I recommend you send them from the begging. 1)i-130 & i-130A - $535 2)i-485 - $1225 3)i-864 - $0 4)i-693 medical exam - cost varies depending on doctor and vaccines required. Optional but highly recommend because they are free to file with AOS. I-765 - free with i-485 I-131 - free with i-485

My medical is not yet expired (valid for a year) so I don't have to take i693. This medical was taken before I flew to US, one of the requirements for me to have my Visa.

If your medical is not near to expire, you can just only submit DS 3052. In my case, I just submitted my DS 3052 and I don't have any rfe or problem in my application.

Yes, we got 3 certified copies of our marriage certificate and submitted it in each applications. We've requested a several certified copies (you can ask for that), we just paid for it.

Sorry to say, but there's no like exact timeframe getting approve. Some get their case approve quickly, some get year/s.

Ask ko lang po nag file kasi ako ng AOS ko Dec 11 through Priority Express sa post office then Dec 12 2023 it's say Your item has been delivered and is available at a PO Box at 3:44 pm on December 12, 2023 in CAROL STREAM. Anu po ibig sabihin nito? Wala pa po akong natatanggap na text from USCIS 4 days na for today wala pa po akong natatanggap na text from USCIS

Hi ..my k 1 visa packet was taken from me by immigration officer at Dulles airport but it contains my medical report but i later contacted the hospital where I took the medicals and they sent me a copy of the DS 3025 to me thru email ,much more I have had more vaccinations when I got here..Is it good to send it to USCIS

I just submitted my ds 3025. I am done with my biometrics, so far i didn't receive any rfe.

Just submit her DS 3025 in her AOS application. Unfortunately, in some case USCIS requested for I-693. That request po happen after masubmit ng AOS Application.
