Hi Kseniya, thank you very much for videos related to I-485, as they're very detailed. While collecting documents to apply for Adjustment of Status for DV lottery, I have found the following information regarding a document I have to submit: "If derivative applicants are filing Form I-485 based on the principal applicant’s Selection Letter, you must provide evidence that the principal applicant included the derivative applicants in the entry when entering the DV lottery for the current fiscal year." Frankly speaking, I have no idea what it means since DV entry itself did not allow to download the entire Application, and on submission confirmation page my wife is not mentioned. Probably you have an idea what are they mentioning? Appreciate your help.

Hi Kseniya, very informative video. If you are an immediate relative (i.e. parents) of a US Citizen, then I believe you can still apply for Adjustment of Status even if you have overstayed in the US.

If you have an approval prior to 1997 (might be 2001) you might be able to gain greencard by claiming 245I which forgives working unauthorized and entering without inspection.

Hi Kseniya, if we are applying for Adjust of Status with F I-485 (sending it physically) at the same time we send the Form I-130 by the online application, we won't have the I-130 Receipt of Approval Notice, it doesn't matter? Thank you!

Hello, my wife's I131 approved and sent out but to the wrong address. We are able to see that in the digital version of the document that it was mailed to our same street address but to the wrong state. We had already updated our new address but it registed as Illinois instead of washington state. The case is closed but it looks like it may have been sent back to uscis as the address was not a physical mailbox rather just an empty field with no house. Would you simply send a letter to uscis and state that the address was wrong and that we never received it? Thank you!

The first thing on your list is receipt of the i-130 but for Fiancee Visa it would be the i-129 receipt and this is confusing because you don't mention this very common other USCIS process...And isn't it just the 797 Notice of Action that is needed?

Hi Kseniya, My Mother's I-130 has been approved and on the letter I-797 (NOTICE OF ACTION) USCIS is saying that our I-130 has been approved and we have to apply for I-485. Whereas we have filed concurrently with I-130 & I-485 and I have the receipt number for both I-130 & I-485. So what should I do next?

Hi Kseniya, we are parents arrived US on visit visa B1-B2. My daughter who is citizen of US applied I-130 online sponsoring both of us for GC. Is 90 days waiting time a must for submitting I-485 ? If I-485 submitted after 90days of our arrival is it considered to be concurrent filing? Please clarrify.

Hi Kseniya, I don't know if you can help me on this subject but NVC has been rejected my divorce certificate 3 times. They required a FINAL LEGAL DIVORCE DECREE. In France since 2017 when spouses are agree to divorce by mutual consent the divorce is pronounced by a notary and NOT in a court. The only three legal documents that spouses have in their possession are : the divorce contract provided by the lawyers, the divorce certificat provided by the notary and the mariage certificat with mention of the divorce provided by the city hall where the marriage took place. They rejected all 3 documents. I have no idea what to provide so does my lawyer who pronounced the divorce. If you have any idea that would help me I would be very grateful. Thank you Emmanuelle

I have I94 but I lost my I94 and i tried to get online bit doesnt show online or cbp webiste.. but i do have the Certificate of exchange of visitor i came here with J1 visa. When i tried to do the i485 form they are asking for i94 number but since i dont have if. I have a legal status here and planning to file i485 now. Before coming to the USA, I got married to him in my home country, and I disclosed all of this information when I applied for my F1 visa. Now, do I need to keep my Sevis active (continue my study) after filing the form i485, or as an immediate relative of a US citizen, am I allowed to stay with him without continuing my study (F1 visa's condition)? Hello, great videos. I have a question for you, you said that if you do concurrent filling online you need to submit the receipt notice that you would print out after you submit the I-130, so are you still able to do concurrent filling since you do the I-130 first? Appreciate your response

Hey there. Yes. I believe she has a video where she goes more in detail on this, but essentially you submit the I-130 online and get a receipt of notice. You include the number of that receipt on the I-485 form (there is a specific section where they ask for it) and also print out and include the receipt with your application. Once you file form I-485, USCIS will link it to the I-130 application they received online once they receive the I-485. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Kensiya, I filling out i-864 applications separately for my wife and her unmarried child under 21 (6 years old). On her i-864 I list her as principal on Part 2, 1a 1b put her her and on Part 3 I click the Yes box under item 1 Correct? But now I'm also filling out a separate i-864 form for the unmarried child: where do I put the child's name and which box(es) do I click yes on in Part 2 and 3? Thank you very much

Hello, thanks for the video. I have a question...We misplaced the foreign passports so we don't have the stamped proof or the visa page detailing legal entry into the US. But, we do have the i-94's for the kids. Will we still be able to submit the i-485 without issues? Or, will they actually need the passport information in addition to the i-94's? We do have pictures of the actual foreign passport, but not the physical passports. Thanks
