God I wish I had this video when I started 10years ago😆. That machine is a beast and it took a lot of trial/errorto learn how to fine tune it but it really helped me speed up.
Spencer, I put the drain plug on the underneath side of the machine. I have never had it fall out in 30 yrs. This way you can drain the tank before you take it apart.
Try moving the counter to the center of the machine. This will hold the Vinyl down at the cutoff slot after you've made the cut, ready to pull the next Piece
Look what I just bought Dan www.walmart.com/ip/Gymax-Commercial-Janitorial-Cleaning-Cart-3-Shelf-Housekeeping-Ultility-Cart-Vinyl-Bag/826205778?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=13029&adid=22222222228280164537&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=338753174075&wl4=aud-566049426705:pla-725667115877&wl5=9019072&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=117584422&wl11=online&wl12=826205778&veh=sem&gclid=CjwKCAjwqZPrBRBnEiwAmNJsNlx_wvUi7w0zahZOUvyGH9zYlX6Ihwr2y5navbV0dJ3WKuNMgqBJLxoC6UAQAvD_BwE
Did you ever buy the janitors cart I told you about? The cart keeps your tools water bucket and scrap container off the floor, which means less bending over. It's one of the best investments you can make for $150.
The paste thickness is controlled by the pendulum arms on each end of the machine there are 3 or 4 holes that that the arm locks in to.The screed as you called it has no real function than allowing the vinyl to slide into The machine without getting hung up.
The pendulum arms on each end Move the silver rod under the "Screed" in or out from the large Roller. They operate like a cam. Remove the screed and move the Arms and you will see what I mean.
Be consistent thinning your Paste. You must thin the paste! Adjust the thickness as needed with pendulum arms. It should take moderate effort to pull the vinyl. Anything more or less you may need to adjust how you thin the paste.
