How To Automate The Powah Energizing Orb - ATM7 Ep 35 

I automate this with only stockpile switch from create(configurate to signal, when empty) and redstone dust above it, then i configurate crafter from RF give out new pack items when signaled. To easy Schema: RC SE I R- redstone dust C - Crafter from RF S - Stockpile switch from create E - energizing orb I - importer from RF P.s sorry for my English, if I make mistakes

Thank you so much for this video. If anyone is having issues with larger requests, this set up won't work if you request a pattern that needs more than one crafter at once to work, it will stuff the ingredients for Blazing Crystals, Energized Steel, and Nitro Crystals into the orb all at once. You need three orbs to make this work, but with this video, that is incredibly easy to figure out. I used Create links for all of it instead of repeaters. Run 1, 2, and 4 redstone from the comparator directly to a link, set up links on the crafters and the sorters, request a Nitro Power Cell, and watch the magic happen.

Oh, and BTW... The Goodfella's reference in the intro was priceless. Back in my heavy gaming days, the first clan I was in, was "The Goodfellas". LOL

Good stuff. It’s unusual to have powah without mekanism so this works. It’s really hard to do this kind of tutorial when it’s so dependent on what mods are in the pack.

You can set this up with the crafter directly ontop set to pulse inserts next set and filter the importer

good info. i actually had to set up four individual stations. that way you can request a large job that might require multiple recipes from each category. one for each number of recipe components. in my modpack, there are a couple of three item recipes, like the garen cloche, so i need four stations. since each sorter will input its items regardless of other sorters doing the same thing, you have to separate them. it's still possible for two recipes to overlap, but not very likely. also, quick tip for anyone doing the same thing... keep your energizing orbs at least four blocks away from the energizing rods of the other stations. otherwise the rods may get confused and link to the wrong orb. took me a while to figure that out. may seem obvious now, but at the time i didn't even consider that they wouldn't link to the closest orb. i used to do this a semi-automated way with four hoppers. same basic idea, since hoppers stop working with a signal. you just have four hoppers feeding the orb from three sides plus the top, and your redstone signal feeds from one side of the orb back to the hoppers. it's only semi-automated because you have to place the recipe items in the individual hoppers manually, but still a huge time saver.

Since this is atm7, you can just use the gauges and switches mod. Put a industrial comparator switch on the energizing orb, then put a two-button machine switch on the crafter, and link them with an ender pearl. Still set the crafter to “red stone pulse pushes next tick” or whatever

You can have the crafter go directly into the orb, have the comparator pulse on a signal of 1 (crafting is done) to signal the next batch.

If your using Pipez I used a hopper for the import side, because I couldn't get the Item Pipes to work

I followed this guide exactly but when I want to order more than one set of 16 nitro crystals it doesn't repeat the redstone signal..

Why is it so that when i order more than 1or2 energized steel, crafter gets locked instant...?

For me it throws blaze rods and the stuff for nitro crystals all at once could you pls help me fix it?

is there an alternative for restone links, my mod pack does not have it :( i am on the oceanblock mod

I have done the single crafts whit this setup. but when i get to the crafts that needs 2 different items like energized and so on i cant get it to work from a chest. same goes for the ones that needs 3+ ingredients. is there a way for me to get this working whitout crafter like you have ? i want to use chest for now at least. plz help me thanks alot for the episode you just earn my sub

So would this work if I tried to order an energized steel AND a nitro crystal at the same time? Like the crafters, sorters won't try to conflict with access to the powah orb?

I dont know why this is not working for me. I've done everything, except for the standalone chest, im using the importer on the orb because of the refined storage). Ive put down the redstone exactly like in the video, but when i start my craft on the monitor (and select lets say 5 energized steel) it crafts only one and then it stop saying "crafter is locked". The first one is getting pulled out of the orb thanks to the importer, but then its just stuck like this and i dont know how to fix it.. ps: yes, the redstone option within the crafter is set on the "inserts next set" option.

just set the crafter to push next set on redstone pulse and you can skip all the chests...

Only if your setups would have a "how to make it look good" part bro. Its really hard to make them look nice in certain builds.

shame this is still so complicated with refined storage. ae2 can work without any redstone because it has a setting to not stuff more in untill the first one is done. one of the reasons I will not go back to refined. ae2 makes stuff like this so simple.
