Today we are talking about one of my personal favorite moves, the back freewheel or switch freewheel. In this video I break down the techniques needed for the back freewheel and some of my best tips and tricks. Its it basically just a pivot turn/steirn squirt, but going backwards and over the lip? I'm going to try this 👍

How about how to scout and run your first waterfall. I really want to try my first this year, but I don't have a clue what to look for.

shay muir yeah, me too, but when I look at videos I can’t see how, why or when paddlers choose to land differently, they all do different things with their paddles, choice of lines and things to look for at the bottom of the falls, etc, etc, etc 👍🏻

@@nicktroutmankayak Yep, pick a line and how what goes on at the bottom of the fall relates to the choice of line and choice of whether to pencil-in or what kinda options fit which scenarios...that would be great!
