Video showing you how to cook bacon wrapped chicken lollipops and potato bombs on the Weber Kettle
Potato Bombs: The process involves hollowing out the center of a pealed potato using an apple corer. Cutting off the ends of the hollowed out core will provide a plug for filling the void with whatever you like. I fry chopped onion and bacon in some butter and use this as the filling. Season the outside of the potato with oil, salt and pepper before wrapping in foil. Place these close to the coals and turn regularly. Put the spuds on about half an hour before the chicken.
The mini cast iron skillet set is made by ATN Camping. I got mine from a store on Aliexpress called “Grand Camps Store”. Its no longer listed on their store and I can’t find it available anywhere else. Not sure of they are still in production or just low stock.
The little home made stove runs off methylated spirits (denatured alcohol). The design is call a "Fancy Feast stove" and get its name because you use a Fancy Feast cat food tin as the base. I'll make a DIY video on how to build one if there enough interest (comment below).
Chicken Lollipops: With a small, sharp knife, cut around the thin, bony end of each chicken drumstick-cutting through the skin, meat, and tendons until you reach the bone. Slide the knife up towards the knuckle until it grabs. Follow the shape of the knuckle with the tip of the knife applying force. The knuckle should pop clean off the bone (takes some practice). Season the chicken with your favorite rub before wrapping in some bacon. Secure the bacon with a tooth pick. Place these on indirect heat and rotate regularly until the internal temp reaches 165F.
