Is it necessary to wrap the sweet potatoes in foil when baking in the oven?

Not needed, I don't wrap mine I just roast them with the oven fan and it cooks the whole potato 😊

I'd stay away from aluminum foil whenever possible. I use it when it's a must but aluminum is a big contributer to alzhiemers.
