You're welcome. The one thing to not forget is to make sure all axis points are unlocked when powering on. I love how good it is for tracking. moza Aircross 2 didn't even compare. The Xbot Go is a sports tracker it does okay using my mobile phone but it has limitations. The review of that one should be out in a few days... On my tech channel... I think the outdoor tracking video of this one is on my tech channel as well.

I just did my first run with the gimbal. It was a little shakey. What is the best way to fine tune the gimbal to get it properly balanced?

@@AllThingsFilm1 for other adjustments I sadly did not make anything and sadly I am far away from the studio where my gimbal is while I am attending electrical training. Mind you I wasn't really doing handheld either my camera after this video was no longer a Sony ZV1 which is way lighter than FX30 but my current Fujifilm X-S20 has in body stabilization.

I really like the tracking feature, it works very well. It does not have full compatibility with my camera

that's not fun. Some cameras require the setting to be set or a restart. I've been luck with my Olympus M1 MKII, Sony ZV1, Fujifilm X-S20 all flip modes automatically... as well as my mobile phone.

I can not honestly say I used any side or top handle for the MT2 but the NEEWER Gimbal Sling Handgrip. Looks like it would fit to the screw hole and little holding tab that it has.

Did you get it working in normal mode? Remember to unlock all the moving sections or you'll get an error code.

I am also out of the studio and left my gimble there, not going back till mid February 2024 at the soonest. I am completely my electrical certification as an electrician. Still doing videos, but I didn't really have much room for packing.

If I am understanding correctly maybe your camera is heavy? There are adjustments for weight within the settings. Not sure what your lens is like, and if you have a lens that extends and you happen to balance when your lens is not extended for instance it throws the gimbal off balance... @@sparkestudio Actually, I am using a Insta360 Ace Pro Action Camera (think Go Pro). So if the gimbal handle is straight up and down and I lean the handle to the left or right is when the camera comes off of horizon and the gimbal can't control it's own movements. I hope I explained that correctly? Thanks for your reply.

@@ScottHirschman Sorry I have not a clue, have you checked the different menus like POV to find out if your issue is a setting? Sadly I am not back at the studio for 1 more month where my gimbal is. I am a 20 hour drive away from home attending my year 4 electrical training. If you are on Vancouver island in BC Canada by any off chance I could help in person.

I mentioned this error in my video... Like very quickly (easy miss) that if you do not unlock ALL lock points you are going to get an Error 3.

I could totally use a camera cage still vertical or not. Not sure if I am missing something in your question. There is a mount plate that comes with this weather you install horizonal or vertical and camera cages don't stop you from mounting to a camera tripod mounting plate.

​​@@sparkestudiowhen I said cage I was referring to the L bracket that came with the gimbal. I've watched several videos on balancing the MT2 but you're the first I've seen that takes the bracket apart. I guess if one were to never shoot vertical that would work.

@@steveloudon7491 oh now I get you... I don't shoot vertical but I did one time with that L bracket removed. In which case I used my camera CAGE as a mount point lol. I still have the L bracket in the pouch for the gimbal.

I can't be of much help at the moment since I am out of town at work for 4 more days otherwise I would have you write me on discord or Facebook and I would send you pictures of the main 2; plate types. I do discuss plate types on my Cayer K10 Pro fluid head review. The Acra Swiss plate is far smaller than the other and has groves on the sides cut in that hold it down. The Manfrotto plate type is of course the larger and generally used is larger better tripod heads since they hold more secure. If you have a small camera like a Sony ZV-1 or a mobile phone. If you google "camera plate types" and look at images 90% or more are going to be one of the 2 types. I have the gimbal the MT2 at my studio back home. I literally work 14 days straight and have 6 and a half days off and back out of town for 14 days again. Have to pay for all these items I buy.

There are different mods POV and others. Maybe you're on the wrong mode? I can't check the settings on my own, I am out of town working as an electrician on a new power plant.

@@davidpoo66 you don't take it apart. You just fold it in a manner that it goes back to its shape for storage. I put it back in the package last week before I left town. I can't even make you a video to help, I am literally away from my studio for another 11 days. I have to pay for my tech on this channel and my tech channel somehow. Spent enough to buy a truck in full since 2019 to now that is $90K out of my pocket in 5 years.

@@sparkestudio Thanks, I kind of figured. I'm close to getting it right.

I balanced the sections that need to be balanced. if my camera was too large could have slid out the bottom. Balance steps are all the same if that were to knock out any balance.

Make sure all your axis are unlocked or it is always going to error 3. If it cannot self level that something is jamming it, the error occurs.

@@sparkestudio ahhhh, so you mean AFTER I level everything, I lock it. Then UNLOCK them before turning on?
