A lot of these items are pretty cheap as is. Especially if it really was handmade, even more worth paying their asking price. I did my share of haggling in the Hawaii markets. It's fun and easy to do but if you go there too many times being cheap, no one wants to do business with you. Luckily enough I was quite liked by a few locals markets for actually upping their sales by visiting them, often with other tourists haha. Got some freebies and discounts. Things at the markets are cheaper than the things you would find in their big souvenir shops that are everywhere, be cautious of fakes in both places ofc.
