I notice this is your first video, definitely not bad for being so. However, I just thought I might point out a few things that you probably already know on making your future videos better. #1, as I'm positive you already know, better camera and mic. I would personally get a better mic first, audio is more important than you might think and in this case, your audio quality is just overall not as good as the image quality. #2, Pacing is actually pretty good, especially considering this is your first video and it should only get better with time/practice. However, I think you would create better comedic effect if you went a ever so slightly more extreme with your reactions. Not TOO extreme, because then it just becomes obnoxious. You gotta find your own personal balance, I guess is what I'm trying to say. #3, Once you become comfortable with your current setup, you'll want to add certain effects to your video, to further extend the comedic effect of some of your jokes. For example, 0:41 is severely lacking a sad violin :P You'd think that trying to implement those would be too difficult, especially right now but from the little I've looked into myself, (me and my brother are soon to be making our own animated skits), it actually would not be as hard as you'd expect. Again, considering this is your first video and I'd say it turned out pretty good for being so, I'd wager you already have some people you're aspiring to and already know most of what I had to say, but I like to help when possible. Well, back to my hole. *Jumps*

Thanks for your response! Advice is something you can never get too much of. I hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions, though. First, I actually was using a Zaffiro Lavalier clip-on Microphone for the entirety of this video. Do you have any recommendations as to how I could either improve the quality of the audio my mic or just a recommendation on a good hands-free mic I can move around with freely. Second, thank you. You're too kind! I look forward to growing and getting better each day. :) I agree! I think because it was my first video, I was trying to dance around my comfort zone without going too far out of it. Progress, slowly but surely! Third, you hit the nail on the head. I was hoping to put a lot more effort in the future into sound effects as well as other little effects that make my videos more entertaining. Again, thanks so much for your feedback! I look forward to seeing your content.

Ah, cool. So, I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure what microphone you should be getting specifically. However, just doing a little bit of research should yield you some good results. E.g., amazon reviews, top 10 lists, etc. Even if you see something that looks good but is out of your price range, remember that black friday is on the horizon! It is possible that you *might* be able to increase audio quality without buying a new mic, it depends on what the audio format is when you saved the finished video. I've uploaded a few videos, all in 1080p, 60fps. (I have yet to record anything off screen, just as a notice). I've used Windows Movie Maker (yes, far from professional but it's the most user friendly, free video editor I've tried by far) and after doing some digging I've found that creating a custom format to save your videos in is definitely the best choice. Below are the settings I personally use. You'll want bitrate set to 45000kbps and the audio format to be set to 192kbps, 48khz stereo. I get the impression that your current camera only records in 720p, but you might as well set the video to save in 1920x1080 anyway, that way if or when you upgrade your camera, you won't worry about having to update the profile you're using. If there are any new problems with the video quality, you'll probably need to tinker with the settings a bit more. Here's a pretty nifty chart from RU-vid themselves on the best bitrates. support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en (After writing all this I just realized you may be using apple's version of a video editor. If that's the case, I'm not 100% sure what I said is going to be completely useful , although I'd imagine iMovie would be at least somewhat similar). That being said, I'm interested to see what your next video(s) will be like. {Nods}
