1. Choose a distro for yourself. 2. Download it for your PC / Laptop. 3. Create a bootable USB. 4. Install your distro. 5. Finish! Perfect you're a Linux user now! It's easy! BONUS! Don't hate Chrome OS. It's technically a Linux distro. Hate MacOS.
I'm not a linux user myself(yet) but I was made to understand you actually have to hate every distro, including the one you use, and hate the users of each distro more than you hate the distro itself? Especially the one you use.
@@WINDOWSXP9013What a loser, not an open source, owned by corparation, very expensive license, can't customize freely, performance sucks out of box, you're doing all in guis, not cool, memory eater, and just use linux man
Thank you for sharing with us 😊. I will have to change to Linux, not that I hate Chrome but will after I install the right Linux program and hope you're doing great things with your life 🤗
As usual with people who prefer a consumer grade OS, you couldn't be further from the truth. (1) I have (had) Linux laptops, but not exclusively. My main workhorse has always been a tower computer. A small tower nowadays. I also use Raspi's; (2) I haven't installed Linux since 2008. You can buy the stuff preinstalled nowadays. I guess it matches the experience most Windows users have. Ever installed Windows? It's no fun; (3) My machine boots up within seconds. Nice try, faking a long boot. I use Windows on my corporate laptop. It takes much longer to boot; (4) I'm not particularly fond of oranges. I'm more a kind of banana man. I don't know where you got that idea; (5) I'm not British; (6) I don't "hate" other Linux derived OS-es. I hate Windows, though. Always have, since v3.0; (7) If you use VMware, yes, you might drop into drivers. QEMU - not really. Linux itself comes with all drivers preinstalled; (8) If you're clueless, don't make a video. It doesn't do you any good. And it most certainly will not go viral.
The oranges are because of the Linux orange database, I didn't fake the long boot. It is slow because of the laptop and the vm. I will do whatever I want with the videos, and I will continue this series. Thanks for your feedback
@@WINDOWSXP9013 Well, it would have been honest if you had put that in first. It's not hard to make Windows look bad, but if I used those tactics I could make it look worse. Of course, you can do whatever you want. AFAIK it's still a free country and I always honor the motto "freedom of speech is not for those you agree with, but especially those you *DON'T* agree with". Now, you're a small channel. so it is unlikely I'll ever see it in my feed again, but if I do, you might get a another comment.
@@WINDOWSXP9013 If you mean that "heart" - you gave it to (almost) all your commenters, so it didn't make me feel particularly special. You're not the only content creator who does that, so don't feel too bad about it. I'm not that mean. I suppose I should say "thank you", but it seems to have miraculuously vanished in the meanwhile if I'm not mistaking.
Yeah you are right, I have to clean up my main beast for that, I used to film videos on my main machine back in 2022 but now I only use it for personal use. This laptop btw is 9 years old LoL
Fedora workstation ( daily driver) Red hat enterprise ( corporate usage ) Debian ( reliable as hell ) Ubuntu server lts ( my home server for files and things and Remore usage however i decided to change but then it's working fine) Garuda goes good Chromebook. From my little cousin I Installed Linux mint xfce that crappy chrome OS can't load simpl idle thing properly
Ubuntu isnt getting a great rep anymore for low end, dated hardware and cannonical has tracking spyware like microsoft. I think Mint is better but then i found it its better just because less tracking and the cinnamon enviroment, then i found out cinnamon enviroment exists for Debian. Im eager to try Debian 12 - cinnamon.
You are correct, ubuntu is great but Mint is better. I didn't think about it much before I recorded the video. I personally used to use Debian on my school laptop
Thanks! First of all, it was just a joke, but I don't really recommend chromeos becouse it is linux but it pretends not to be, like locking features and stuff, also it is usually used in schools for studying. If you could get android apps on this, it would be 🔥
It was painfull to watch: 1. You made us bored even before linux is installed, you do not using it, you just installing it. 2. that snaks on keyboard and moving finders was pain to watch. 3. You touchink keyboard as a noob is also pain. 4. Most drivers are included in kernle, you just installing it on VM. 5. You did not even go full screen on VM.
1. How should I touch the keyboard while holding a camera 🤣 2. I have important files on that computer and I used vm 3. I cleaned the keyboard after the recording 4. Idk LOL
