I have like 300 plus hours on genji, but im not perfect and Im always looking to improve, but im console, so its difficult, but thats why im here to watch your vids and see how I as a genji player can do better.
If your on console, I'd suggest rebound your jump to bottom left trigger and dash to left stick press, and make deflect top left trigger, it feels a lot better in my opinion than the base control layout because you can turn around and fire mid jump without letting go of right stick. Left stick press for dash just overall feels better in my opinion but is optional.
@@Dark-700X yeah I have all my stuff rebound. Im really good as genji, last comp season I was 2200 (sadly) but then this season after winning all 7 placements I get silver like wtf? So yeah but ive had many master and gm players tell me I belong in diamond some even say masters but im hardstuck soooo yeah. The life of a console player.
@@MikasaSimp As someone who picked up overwatch 3 months ago and climb from silver to plat in one season with one-tricking genji; Play 100 sensisity and reduce your aim assist window to 80 percent. This will prevent your crosshair from jerking away from your target if another any passes by your peripheral. I've got more tips but it'll be tldr
this was very helpful and im not even a genji main, but i would love to see one of these types of videos for doom fist, especially after his tank rework
@@NorthernHarker He's arguably the worst hero at the moment, I'm not statistically wrong in any way lol. Most fun, sure. But he's in no way in a good spot.
I’ve been trying to learn him. I finally got a pc and he’s honestly way easier to maneuver on a mouse. I feel like I actually have a chance to figure him out
i started playing overwatch since yesterday. I already know your channels bc of fortnite league and valo so i knew what channel i need to watch to leran fast. Bro uploaded 3 vids in 1 day respect
I struggle alot playing genji because of his very specific gameplay. I really wanna get better but when playing ranked the only damage I can do well with is reaper. Cause I'm in low rank and constantly having to fight higher ranks it means most often my team mates are also unsynergised and are unaware of others presences
Your channel is really helpful, me and my friends started playing Overwatch and having so much fun, while we also have a competitive spirit it is definitely helpful to have someone we can take notes of. +1 Sub
@@eve_______ ya they usually nano when I haven’t even scoped out where the squishy players are so when they do I just panic and dash at the first person and usually die cuz it’s a tank 😭
So it seems like flanker positioning is still WITH the team, just pressuring a different ANGLE, is that right? With exception of dive comp, in which case stick with the tank-
I have improved so much with Genji when I change the secondary fire (L2) button to primary (R2) but the problem is that is also change the ultimate attack blade automatically sadly I don't know how to keep it as it's without changing my Primary
I see my mistake now I don’t look for opportunities I wish for opportunities and alway went flank or dash in when someone is low but there are healers on them
20hrs of genji & i feel like a stupid cause i stopped getting potgs and getting team kills with my dragon balde. It really sucks i'm kinda forcing myself to play genji now(+my aim sucks)
Tip number 1. Stop relying on nano, pocket and healers. Tip number 2. Learn to dry blade and reliable get 2ks and 4ks. 3. Learn positioning, map layout, health pack locations. 4. Get good against your hard counters and dont swap. 5. Solo q always to learn all these things to the limit and become an actual good genji player who doesnt rely on his team to get value or rely on blade farm. All coming from a pure solo q genji with almost 200 hours doing all of this and actually tells his healers to f off and pay attention to the team. You either learn how to get your picks and get out or die. Dont rely on teammates bailing you out. It's just you out there remember that. Dont believe me? I got clips on this youtube account and twitch clips of me doing all this @the_nugget_army. It is possible...you just have to go through hell and back to achieve this. And fyi I am on console. Also again the way this guys is doing is he is always implying his team is going to help him and that were all pros who play with perfect coordination.
@@rogue4340 wait til she uses fade, flank or simply be bold and point blank her with spread shurikens and melee to force a fade and then pick from range. Crits are key. Save deflect when diving her she might use black orb to bail herself out or heal to self heal just deflect it and have her own move win the engagement for you. If she sees you first you better he confident with your headshots or dash, spread, melee combo. Also remember even causing her to fade and retreat keep her away from healing her team and out of position. Try to start doing this 1st of your not confident in the 1v1. No healing for enemy is still a big plus for your team. Warning you doing the silent work like this( aka the unsung hero) will be heavily common. Satisfaction of doing this is yours 1st and then one you can 1v1 her even decently or half of the time your team will simply be like " wow the genji is keeping the moira in check? Ok?".if you need any advice or whatever I do stream on twitch @the_nugget_army or I post clips on this profile from time to time. I answer questions or comments and also willing to teach.
Lead your shots when medium to close.always use right click and if a dps.or.support gets to half health or less dash and right click it will then reset your dash on elimination to carry on for.another kill or dash back to your healer
