I can see this working if i were to smile more and practice hand gesture more with people i know, but what about people that already know me they already have a perceived idea about me if i start using hand gestures when i never really have they'll notice immediately and ask what the hell im doing.

1) Focus on non-verbal presentation instead of worrying what you should say 2) First impressions (7 seconds) 3) More hand gestures : To show intention and emphasis explanation 4) Vocal charisma/ variety : say it like you mean it, positive energy 5) Genuine Smile

You think you’re not but the hand gestures made a big part of her conversation which means she’s using hand gestures just right. If hand gestures is all you see that means the person is over doing it and you’re probably not focus on what they’re saying.

in reality these statistics are not congruent to how your upbringings are and character. charisma comes from the energy and vibe you portray that's eternal from the chore emotions you feel while expressing yourself. mimicry is what human thrive on naturally and when you try to do something that's no in aline to your perception then it will not come off as charismatic.

Depending on who you listen to, the brain can process between 2,000,00,000 and 4,000,000,000 bits of information a second but only 2,000 or so make it into conscious awareness. The remainder are either filtered out or go directly into the subconscious and since hands can convey threat you can be certain that your brain is aware of them even if you did not consciously ATTEND to them.

You're amazing Vanessa. Your studies, your books as well as your videos are very helpful. I discovered you thanks to my brother who is working on the last part of his MBA in Tunisia. Love from Germany😍

I just found your videos today and this is my third in a row that I've watched. I have a customer(s) of mine that have given me a nick name because I smile a lot (smiley) and act ( quite honestly excited) about what ever they are doing or winning. example: winning a free coffee or lottery. I want to let you know that I think you are awesome and to keep up these great videos.

The thing is, Vanessa is applying what she's teaching. Right after she mentioned hand gestures, I started observing her hand gestures and she uses them a lot to give better explanation.

"Smiling with your eyes" is sincere. "Smiling with your entire face appears like a front or that its forced.
