I love your tips on confidence and accepting your body because God created it specifically for you. That was really insightful. I have inflammatory bowel disease and have had times where I am just so angry at my body. I realized that I was going to be in this body forever though so I had to accept the fact that I would always have limitations and have to be very careful of how I live my life. I think all of my pain has taught me that family and friends are the most important thing and with that, their love and support- appearances mean nothing. The ones who matter don’t care what you look like at all and when you are gone, they will miss your spirit and soul, not your body.

And I think that's a really precious truth to uncover, that the people who matter most won't ostracize you for superficial things like appearances or bodily struggles, but rather they'll come alongside you and stay by your side through those struggles (which is exactly what God does too).
