There is this large stigma that people with psychosis are a danger to others, that is highly FALSE. If anything, they are in higher danger to themselfs or a victim of abuse more than the person with psychosis being a danger to others.

I agree that people in psychosis are a danger to themselves and possibly victims of abuse, but I also think that people in psychosis can be a danger to others. I know during my psychosis I personally attacked a few people and I know others who have done the same. It may not be something you experienced, but it does happen.

Does psychosis affect one sexually? That a guy feel’s like it’s not working anymore?

I have not heard of psychosis affecting someone's ability to have intercourse. The only thing it could impact is the behavior of the person. They could start to do irrational things or end relationships or say they are leaving. But I have never heard anything about sex specifically, its usually general behavior that changes.

@@nabielaibrahim1551 That makes sense. I have heard of that impacting intimacy. If this is an issue it might be worth bringing it up with his doctor, they might be able to change the medication or reduce it. Hope it all works out!

this might sound strange homie but its actually advice from one of the most respected masters of our time Thich Nhat Han- go for the spirituality of your local traditions. dont try to go all eastern mystycism on life man. those teachers and priests are literally thousands of miles away from you. keep your reverence and what not of course but dude- ditch the tapestry and the india stuff. it fosters mental illness in folks like you who are reaching out for truth. and the worst is to have some other white person in america tellin you about spiritual stuff from india. just leave it man. Seems like you're kinda past it but i'm just tellin you flat our as a reminder. go with your local traditions, respect the history of your gender and your people. Bring more of it into your life. Get physically strong. especially ur legs so you feel like you can stand up like a boss. eat some red meat and lift heavy things to get your testosterone levels back where they should be. Ditch the spirit flute man. ditch the incense. honeslty you need to be a man.

I think if someone is a white mystic type person who wants to integrate with the whole divine idea dont realize that the west also has deep mystic roots with hermeticism alchemy gnostic and kabbalah mysticism, it's sad when you see a westerner who knows nothing of their peoples mysticism and they end up larping and yogi or Buddhist.

Bruh firstly I wildly disagree with you. Seriously like everything you said I was at odds with. If you’d like my reasoning then I will share at your behest. I’m not gonna shit on you bc lord knows I’ve had my share of hot takes throughout my life. It takes time to get closer to the truth. It takes many failures. I will say tho that it’s good practice to never shut the door on your opinions. Always leave it cracked just in case further revisions are needed. If youre curious you’ll eventually find your way to sound wisdom. Also google western metaphysics and these men; Alfred North whitehead, and Rupert sheldrake. Whiteheads book Process and Reality has withstood nearly a century of rigorous academic scrutiny. It’s very hard to understand at first but as it starts to become clearer it will completely blow your mind. It is a guarantee.
