We'll be taking an in dept look on how to beat the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC. This time around is against Marluxia! The final boss of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and one of the strongest members of Organization XIII
Very useful guide, but you really should have explained right at the end what to do properly, you have to DODGE AROUND those flowers and attack. Magic or shotlock might also work. I tried airstepping him but immediately died, If you touch those black flowers, it's over. You have a few seconds to do this.
Your guides saved my sanity, I was able to defeat Xigbar by just blocking his regular shots back at him so he defeated himself in a way but I was still standing so I count it as a win!
I noticed a quick way to deplete his armor is to dodge with a keyblade that attacks as you dodge, for example Nano Arms or Oblivion/Oathkeeper. When you hit him as you dodge it takes off loads of his armor for some reason.
I unlocked the data battles a few days ago can't believe i actually found tutorials on these going to be watching these for awhile until I beat all of them
I don't see people mention this but if you have ultima get an ultimate form before the stage shift and save it as soon as you see him floating in the air switch to ultimate form and as the screen flashes white shotlock this staggers him and you are able to do infinite combo on him with ultimate form until he hits 1hp
one thing that helped me out considerably was using ultima weapon lockshot during the first doom, of course that would the strat dependable of ultima weapon but other lockshots would also help as well
As a player who defeated all Data battles on 2.5 twice on level 1... I must defeat every single 1 of these new guys on Critical (At the very minimum.) These guides are quite helpful, Thanks for the hard work.
The thing thats getting me is the finale DM its just so random I can't get a good dodge pattern down (other than that this video helped alot really I was getting killed by those damm flowers way to much
Replaying this on Proud no codes, and when he does the pair of vaccum spirals, if you let the first one suck you in and block, you can counter and punish him before he event gets his super armor. Also, I find Counter Impact better than Counter Kick because it can he used to take out his petals while he attacks.
Kept getting stuck on the first phase where he has massive skull. What I did was dodge up until the skull comes out and do a double shot lock infinity circle with ultima weapon. Gets him out of that phase quick
I think its a good idea for sora to just fall to the ground faster from aerial recoveries in next game, or devs add an ability which lets him teleport to the ground. To me its floaty as in sora just stays in the air too long so with super bosses he just gets trapped in arial combos after one mistake.
@@mobilefeen5641 Literally, just got lucky. Rode out the combo (blocking, dodging, etc) and tried to cast thunderga, but messed up and casted waterga instead. But because of how slow moving water was, it hit him right after his invincibility wore off. So . . . Water ya plant boss, kids :v
@@Firestar4041 Even on beginner mode, this battle is extremely challenging and forces you to really get better at this game. If you really want to get through it. My question will be how passable will this section of the DLC for the many people playing Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Switch, assuming this DLC is part of the entire Kingdom Hearts package.
hey dude, so ill give some tips and i just beat him, so first you need the kick reprisal, ultimate weapon and another weapon. so follow the video. block until he turns red on first combo, then dodge and and punish. the next part is block the next two attacks with the spinning scythe and wait a bit then dodge, again shotlock dash to punish. i got hit by the third so often and no punish it was stupid. i ran near him to get him to attack. i used ultimate weapon, and caribbean keyblade for damage. keep comboing him until he says settle down and then dodge roll. stay grounded. i personally had thundaga and firaga, plus elixir (5) on shortcuts. i held short cut here in case he does the floating laser things. i hit them with thundaga but normally got hit by him. thats ok just dodge in air and try to land and recover situation. another tip. the lasers dont disappear until you kill them. if you have no mp because of curing, a good way to beat them is rage mode youl normally have by now and mash triangle. the final move will get rid of them. but only do this if by the time you finish this you would have mp again and immediately cast curaga. keep holding shortcut still in preparation to the purple ring. if he doesnt do it then let go - easy. if he puts things on floor, i just dodged until he does new attack pattern. if he does purple ring, i jump firaga and press attack to dash to him and punish. if he does the 4 massive things, i got hit so many times but as long as you air recover, glide and press block immediately upon hearing the 3rd 'ready' youl be ok, wait for two or 3 attacks and then press x for kick reprisal. and combo him. now biggest issues for this fight. the doom sections. the first you can run up to him and slap him twice before he does anything to do some damage to armour. then he will do the combo he does at beginning of fight. get this punish down. block, and then dodge and punish. this is where ultimate weapon comes in handy. at beginning of the fight use ultimate weapon to get the form change. then swap weapon to keep it. after you punish him in the doom section he goes cray, use the ultimate weapons attack targeting and final move by pressing triangle to slap him. you have to press triangle to get out of the doom section. its called dispel. upon doing this he can be comboed again. repeat until final doom. this final one is bs. i used the final in ultimate weapons form change. so what i did was dodge until the counter goes to the 30's. i got hit some times by spammed roll. i then use final and spam attack upon finishing it. if lucky you will hit him and win. hope this helps.
Finally beat this guy. It just hit me, I can just use EZ codes to deal with these guys and kill them with one hit. Then remove the codes to fight YOZORA fairly:)
Hey I’m not saying kingdom hearts 3 is bad I love the gameplay in it but it’s nothing like kingdom hearts 2 there’s no strategy it’s just mostly slashing and blocking and dodging that’s it and most of the attacks are unblockable I know I’m being like a jerk but in my honest opinion kh2 is better than kh3 the data battles in kh2 were so much funner to play but the data battles in 3 I had great anticipation yes you have to really use your head but it’s mostly just hitting blocking and dodging nothing more but y’all don’t have to feel the way I do god bless all of you and I hope you get a billion subscribers one day
lol give me a break, stop playing on standard and thinking your opinion has any merit in the subject of difficulty ....people do these fights with ALL pro codes on ( level 1, no item locks, magic,hp slip zero defense etc)...... where a single touch kills you, so people have to 100% perfect the fight. Thats the best way to measure how hard it is overall........ and all the big names who do this say he's hard.... as a pure level one player ( you can see my channel) I say he's easily in the top 5 or 6..
