21:26 yup this method does work, this is how I studied for 4 exams in one week when I hadn't read most of the lecture slides😂 found it by accident, it's a lifesaver. If you have to remember info in a specific sequence, just turn the images into a story. It's like a mini movie in your head

There's a huge problem with your point for the electricution room. Some people cannot remember images or the word association does not always work, and it seems like Lucas has that issue (Which is probably why this test was chosen for him). It makes memory games difficult if not impossible when given pictures instead of words (For a real life example, imagine being given a memory board of only words and being told to memorize the words to be found later. This was done in reverse (only the pictures were shown, instead of words) and a pair was asked for in a forensics class. Only myself and one other classmate were unable to get more than 5 pairs and in talking with her after the class, it seems like we both had the same issue, and the same one that Lucas may have had). If this is different for the majority of people (like it sounds like this is the case), then I'll be happy to sit on the sidelines and let the other person go ahead and take their chances^

Like his mother kept him in a dark dungeon and an innocent murderer which yes it maid (EDIT: made)him go crazy to kill his mom but in the moment he probably thought he was innocent for killing someone who was torturing him. Absent Presence could be that no one was there to save him. A sick mind is his split head

this feels like a movie where they had the ending they thought was incredible but didn't know how to get to the ending. like the escape room played like no part in his backstory other than, he was smart and good at escape rooms. not to mention the teleporting he would basically have to do in order to get knocked over by his gf but then get in costume (i assume he was in costume because his gf didn't realize he was the one who attacked her when he found her) and then find her and then get out of costume, go back down the ladder, and then go find his gf again

So my best friend and I did an escape room that we started handcuffed and blind folded. They told us we had to use key which sucks because I can dislocate my thumb fairly easily. Which since in this game They weren't given rules I'd suggest doing, it's not hard just don't blunt force your thumb over you'll break it. It needs to lay flat on your palm and the cuff will fall straight off.

To be fair, the first riddle wouldn't make me suspicious of the guy because the way it was solved is pretty common for those who like puzzles like that and I use both cyphers all the time (letter to number and first letter of word).

3:13 Handcuffs are a regular part of escape rooms, you often need to solve a puddle for a key. One escape room I was in I was handcuffed in a small room and had to solve puzzles with cuffs on to free myself. Items just how these work.

Is it just me or does the plot twist in this movie make absolutely no sense? Like... I don't have schizophrenia so I'm not entirely sure how it actually works but it feels like way too many things happen in this movie that would contradict the plot twist being, "the main character was the killer all along." I feel this way about a lot of movies that choose to do that plot twist. There's a fine line you need to tread in order to do a story about a schizophrenic main character who turns out to be the killer right. And from all the movies I've seen that use that plot twist (aside from maybe Shutter Island), they just never manage to make any sense due to how many plot holes end up getting left behind.

The knives above the bed are just for decoration, obviously.
