How to Beat Purrely 

Glad I found this here after against purrely with zeus and its 6+ materials :)

Hey matt! I am actually on Purrely rn and this was a really nice way of showing off how the deck works! I just wanted to leave a comment about the Purrely match up spread. Purrely actually has an insanely good matchup vs Floowandereeze. Because noir is always going to be in defense, Empen doesn't contest it. And when winds is activated, we just spin it back to deck and then hold a second spin for the big birds! Our worst match up for sure is Tearlament. Since we kinda of rely on interacting through chokepoints with noir, a deck that has so much gas that can bait out noir early is very hard to deal with. Yes we can spin the guys from summoning, but we then leave ourselves open to effects since we no longer have 5 material. Loved the video and just wanted to leave some insight that might help some people out :D

I ended up having no time to watch this and could beat Purrely in the regionals yesterday, but this basically validated how I felt about the matchup❤

i picked up plunder patroll made plunder runick and its pretty good thinking ill give it a try for a bit till the next big set comes out

Similar to StarFeesh below but a bit different, I used to play Purrely in Master Duel when it was at (nearly) full power (we still don't have rank 2 Noir) and recently have been experimenting with adding the Bystial package as extra card advantage and bodies on board to protect my LP if something goes wrong (I'm not sure if that's a good idea!) Just wanted to give a bit of extra advice on the Branded matchup since it was mentioned, but that barely scratches the surface of it: - Mirrorjade can banish level 1's through Street since it doesn't target. Feel free to abuse that! - If Mirrorjade is negated by Beauty, luckily you still get the Extra Deck send since that's part of the cost, so you could retaliate with Rindbrumm - BUT watch out for the Pretty Memory attach effect -- if Mirrorjade is attached as Xyz Material, it _never leaves the field_ even when detached, so no board wipe for you - Try your "Brightest Blazing Branded King" trap to negate _both_ Street _and_ My Friend before removing the Xyz Monsters with Mirrorjade or Albaz so no recursion happens Overall I find the Branded matchup actually quite fun sometimes, but maybe that's cause of the BO1 format In addition, there's an alternate game plan which wasn't mentioned: smacking rank 2 Happiness into a defense position monster, or one selected with Delicious Memory, over and over and over, either searching a bajillion cards or sometimes even pushing game -- this can be difficult to play around since defense position often results in a stacked ZEUS while attack position risks game on board (for low ATK) or self-activating the recursion (for high ATK). I'd be interested to hear some tips on this but the one I can give is that yep, Droll does stop this but Ash Blossom _won't_ since it's Damage Step

I wanna have an out to the Noir but I don't wanna play Kaiju ish cards in my main or side cause there is no other deck currently in the format that gets countered by that. Is there any way to deal with a Noir once it's on the field?

i play dinomorphia. last format i was relying on chaining shifter/retaliation c to the quick plays, imperm/veiler, ash, and super poly to win... im also maining skill drain as its an auto win against purely and floow

sword soul is still good because I beat math mech with it and went 20 turns with lab

I play abc and honestly purely and race arent that bad as well as unchained Lab however is the hardest matchup lmaoo The purely deck in itself isnt really that bad just force the few shuffles effects and the board dies Handtraps can be an issue like with any deck but generally breaking the board is easy

So, I'm playing Plunder Patroll with Kaijus right now since the Post Office can't seem to get me the cards I actually want., but I digress. I want to see Rescue Ace (both variants) as well as Labrynth and Unchained, if you please.

I play galaxy eyes. Most of the time if I’m going second I can play through most interruptions and burn out noirs material and bring c62 out and otk

Monarchs are also great against purrely, because of stormfort

Does skill drain works against Noir?

The closest thing I'll ever get towards playing puurly is uses as an engine for spright. (Likely not a good idea)

Your best bet is just simply kaijuing their towers and then trying to otk them because as soon as you do it they're going to go plus five because of their field and continuous spells.

MJ Does activate, as far as I know.

How to beat Purrely before the video: You just scoop the deck drowns you card advantage. How to beat Purrely after the video; So I can win BUT I AM STILL DROWNING AGAINST ALL THAT DRAW POWER. 10/10 Vid Matt. This deck is killing my soul atm lol
