There have been a few hilarious experiments with AI turrets. Since the AI was trained to use all of its tools to find humans, soldiers were repeatedly able to find ways to escape detection including walking up to it in a box!

I enjoyed this story when I first saw it... And then saw what they were scavenging for and got so angry 😅

I'm sorry man, but your commentary is SO good at making even the most horrifying moments laughable. Even if you're just saying facts, the delivery is so dripping with vitriol and sarcasm that I can't help but laugh at the suffering of these various characters. 😅

Once I knew of the solar battery and depeleted like Bella did, I'd go all 'unga bunga' on it. Using a large branch to flip the thing over and test for any countermeasures before smashing it with said branch or rock.Starting with the solar array and limbs

Paint bombs to blind them, or even flour or fire extinguishers as a temporary distraction. It looks like they don't have a lot of cutting instruments other than picking up kitchen knives, so snares and nets probably could hold them for quite a while. Even if they were strong enough to tear a net, you still have to tear a whole bunch of it to get clear, and running with a torn net dragging off you will still likely snag and hold you up.

Definitely would love for you to cover more Black Mirror episodes Nerd… well at least episodes from the early 4-5 seasons if you want a decent story to follow

I'd love to see an inverse of the AI hates humans trope, and see something where the Ai loves humans too much in a horror movie.

I always liked this episode, even though there's no way in hell I'd be looking for a teddy in the apocalypse, unless that teddy was another AI that could defeat these ones. The part where the dog acquires a kitchen knife is still the funniest part to me. 10/10 cutest death machines.

One obvious answer that wasn't mentioned: Regular dogs. If these things are designed to hunt down humans, they might not be able to identify man's best friend as a target at all, which would allow a trained dog to dismantle it unmolested despite the cyberdog's superior strength, speed, and firepower in a straight fight. Additionally, the dog's sharper senses will make for an early warning system in the event one of these things is around, whether through the distinctive sound of their movements and internal mechanisms, their scent from whatever they're using for lubricant, etc. And that's ignoring the possibility that whatever these things are using for sensors might just plain be obvious in the auditory range dogs can detect and humans can't. And if all else fails and the things know to take out the dogs, every bullet they spend doing that is a bullet that isn't going into your scavenging party.

Once it's run down so it's staying in hibernation mode good idea to chuck the sheet over it so it can't recharge. I'd go further though. If I'm POSITIVE it's asleep and can't wake up my next idea would be to either 1) chuck it over the nearest high cliff into a river or ideally onto some very hard and solid granite boulders, or 2) fall back on an age-old human way primitive man used to deal with predators: find the nearest heavy, blunt object and use it to hammer the living CRAP out of our small robo-foe until every new hit just sounds like someone walking over gravel. One other note on the solar power for the dog. It didn't look like they were in a season or area that required the use of her coat. She would survive without it just fine. Once she figured out the thing was solar powered and got it to not respond, it simply would've been a matter of covering the thing in an opaque layer preventing it from ever charging. Drape the coat over it, and run like hell. I would assume that any of the dogs going offline would trigger a response from the cyberdog collective eventually, but by the time they get there, we would be long gone.

I doubt these bots can swim so i would have made me way to a coastal city in the hopes i could find a boat granted the bots could and probably already have destroyed all boats but as the delivery van and small hatchback along with the range rover were all in perfect condition id say finding a boat would be still able to do just load it up with as many cans and medicines etc as possible then off to a small island or something you go 😂

The teddybear was a women trapped in a hard drive on a deathloop. From a previous episode a guy had his wife put in his head, she annoyed him so he removed her and put her into the bear. So I mean that was probably a worthy cause or that lady will spend a very long time as a teddy without any means of communication or exit from the misery.
