Yes, that was very unexpected and welcomed! Rather than the usual I'll just stand/lie here and let you kill me without even attempting to defend myself scenarios.
Nadja is a bad b*. Three rounds with the killer and won all three leaving him injured until she took his head off. She’s now one of the people who I would want on my team in a horror movie.
Just giggling to myself at the thought of an alternate cut of the movie where during the flagpole scene someone just shouts "get his ass!", before the group collectively just swarms the killer and drive em in the dirt
31:40 with those types of carabineer i don't think they couldve unhooked while they had all that tension on them, i just remember doing rope bridge in JROTC and having difficulties getting off because you need slack to unhook them.
@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds. It's a class you can take in high school that gets you a little kudos if you decide to join the military. Could help you go in as an E2 or E3 depending on certain accolades.
My employer’s called a meeting in the mountains in a couple weeks (middle of winter) with no stated agenda except asking presubmitted questions about the “operation and future of the company.” I’m trying to attend over our videoconferencing software, since I have a disabled dog and it’s on the other side of the country, but they’re acting like physically being together is essential, despite 3 years now of all working from home.
It’s the fact in all his videos he says not to go investigate but in this one he says “he made the very poor choice of not investigating” but still his videos are good nonetheless
investigating the danger means you are leaving your safety. in this video the dude was alone and relaxed. he was in an extremely vulnerable position. the mistake wasn’t choosing not to investigate, it was to choose not to do anything at all.
She didn’t even have to go inside. All she had to do was go outside to inform the rest of the team. Also she truly screwed the rest of the team by taking their phones.
If my car is damaged in the middle of the forest by a man-made device, I´d check the the damage, pull my car to the side of the road if possible and lock myself inside to call a tow-truck/mechanic. Maybe I´m just paranoid, but even if my first thought wouldn´t immediatly go for "murderer trap" I´d suspect at least some kind of criminal scheme.
Looking at a nail-filled board like what was in the movie, I'd definitely assume it was intentional. I'd be driving my car until I'm safely far away, flat tire or nah. I can buy new rims later. I can't buy a new life.
I loved this movie. As a Norwegian, I have to say being able to understand and speak most nordic scaninavian languages by default is really nice. And Its super refreshing to watch an actual good movie that isnt english or a hollywood mega blockbuster. Just good cinema
I’m so glad there wasn’t just a final girl because Nadja definitely deserved to live (I think Jenny too) And Torbjorn and Eva as well. I’m glad for them
Your videos are amazing and very informative as always. There’s a movie which has a lot of situations… It’s called P2 (2007), I truly would like to know what you think the main character could have done better. I hope you make a how to beat about movies alike that!
Also I’ve been there so i know that they could slow the thing down with the brake or use their legs as protection instead of the body so your legs would get injured and not be piercing your lungs or heart
Idk if this is stupid or not but the part where 2 of the survivors were on the zip line and you said they could've just unclipped themselves, i thought that was right but then i thought about uow they would do it cause the clip is being pulled down by their weight.
@@BananaQ_most of the time adrenaline will allow you to do the quarter of a chin up you need but you can use your legs to help as well if needed by wrapping them around the zipline.
@@AlexanderJasperJay Good luck grabbing the line while you are actively gliding along it. You'd have to stop yourself first, although I'd take the risk of injuring my hands if it was me.
@@MartinFinnerup I’ve literally done exactly that as I was instructed to while wearing the proper PPE. I did not hurt my hands because I was wearing PPE that allowed me to safely preform that action. No luck needed just a properly run zipline with the proper PPE.
2nd death had a warning. If you can hear a squirrel break a twig you would hear it moving afterwards, if a deer broke one, it would break it by either running from danger or in a large group (which you would hear easily). Maybe only small animals like rabbits or foxes would you not hear, but foxes are too small and nimble to break a branch, and rabbits you would hear thump against the ground. (I hunt and actually have knowledge on these.) deer and squirrels follow the same few paths because they know those ones are safer etc, so they don’t step on branches and the like. The only noises they make when just walking and roaming in the areas they consider safe are from their mouths and throats, not from steps. That’s how forest animals roam forests.
The one part where he ran into the wire reminded me of my childhood cuz when I was a kid I went to a summer camp in the woods and there was clothes lines everywhere and I was running full speed and ran straight into in my face and had a line across my face and a swollen eye, it like clipped my head and I flipped back and fell in rocks😂 it was much funnier than it sounds
this is just like what happened in an anime l watched city officials tried destroying a town just to build a dam in its place the locals fought back…hard and brutally (“When They Cry” is the name of the anime for anyone interested)
Nah the cook was wrong for going into the woods. In my country, when you see these nailed planks, you know SHITS GOING BAD. So you better stay locked in a safe place and call for help
Malets have a long handle and the business end is easy to avoid if you close the distance so while he’s distracted trying to use his malet to hurt you then you can wrestle with him and take him down
you cant unclip yourself on a zipline at any point at all it locks and you would have to break the clips to get off of the zipline and plus even if you could or its a different type than i used once the bodyweight of 2 people and the laws of gravity would keep the clip on the line
When he says, as you can see you could have obviously done this and it doesn’t make sense because I wouldn’t be thinking to reach into my bag to get my phone I would be worried survival.
So strange to see an actually good swedish (horror/slasher) movie for a change, even tho i personally prefer the more supernatural brutes like jason/mikey/freddy etc.
Als the thing with the Zipline .I used to work at one and whenever you are going at highspeed and you aren't able to make a stop. Our manager just told us to use any hard fabric you can or clothing objects to slow yourself down before the end of the line. So those people could've grabbed their shoes and place it against the line or even if I am seeing correctly since they have seat attachments which only makes them not able to use their pants so they could've used the woman jacket due to that fabric normally being plastic causing it to be the most hardest and easily can heat up and solidify. Honestly those two people would've been more safer by just doing that. LOL-
Its easy to say all those things on how easy people could deal with this kind of situations, when we watch it on screen. But in IRL its different. Especially when you have none experience in a fight or knowledge. Our minds works different in all kinds of situations. Our rational thinking stops working under extreme situations. Especially when you are not like a trained soldier or something
I swear my father would want to live in a place like that (besides the killer ofc) But this video is what makes me scared of the woods, there may be some freak thats about to go on a murdering rampage
Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback! I have also recapped "The Call of the Wild 2020 Movie", Kindly watch this movie explanation too. Your feedback will be appreciated. Thank you so much 🙏
They couldn't work together and they couldn't communicate with eachother. No number of 'trust falls' or 'honesty circles' could get this group to act as a team.
I’m sure this comment will go unnoticed, but if you’re reading this keep me in your prayers please. I used to have 5 brain tumors, but now i only have 1 left to go. In the past I became deaf, had thoughts of suicide, and even started having seizures. To anyone who might see this I hope things get better for you and your family. God bless you all, and one luv ❤🩹❤♥
