Dear Ms. Musayeva, after watching several different courses in english about etiquette, I must say that your videos are the best which can be found on YT in english. You are the most distinguished and elegant (by gesture) teacher.
Hii! This is my first time to comment. Thank you so much for this video. I am really happy when you talked about the importance of knowledge and hardwork rather than the school/university. I am currently a college student and I am studying in a small university here in my country. Thank you for your words. You really inspire me. Love you❤ Love from the Philippines❤
I'm surprised you didn't mention Emily Post! But she (now, a company that bears her name) is the gold standard for American etiquette. There have been many editions over the past 100 years. And Jamila, the course you have on your site is great and I look forward to learning more from you!
Thank you so much for uploading this! I love listening to you whilst I work from home :) Your words are extremely wise and you are looking prettier than ever
Hello , Jamila I have been following you since you upload your dinning etiquette video .I am in love with your content : soothing , calming and so unique ,helping everyone to develop and grow on personal level as well as social level & not to mention you are inspiration for me .I love your style : y Thank you so much for everything .! Love
Thank you for sharing information about your educational background as well as your career. I got into my job because I liked learning new things and I liked sharing knowledge, but ended up doing something slightly different which I enjoy much more at this point in my life.
I was just thinking about what if I’d become an etiquette, but I didnt know how to become one, I ended up sleeping because I was tired and when I woke up, you uploaded this video 😭
What an amazing video and I can't believe I'm almost two months late. 😅 Your journey was really interesting and the part where you said that you didn't find more books that were exactly what you looked for motivated you to make one and that really espired me! You're such a determinated person. I'm so happy for your success and also happy for being part of your online community.
Jamila! I was always so intrigued in knowing how you found out your passion, but I never asked because I thought I would come as noisy, I was so excited to see this video on my subscription feed!
Hi, Jamila! First of all, I’d like to say that I love your channel, specially the videos about how to be more elegant, thank you for your lessons! I’d like to ask you to make a video about how to deal with disrespectful people in a polite and gracious way. Regards from Brazil!
I always enjoy your videos and really love your calm voice. I was Minding Manners’s student in 2016. It was a lovely time in my life and my best decision. Thank you for sharing your career journey.
Hi Jamila! Thank you for this videos. Question; Do you feel pressure or stress on yourself because you feel you have to do everything strictly as an etiquette consultant? Would you say you have to do mostly everything perfectly?
Thank you so so so much Jamila for this video and I really really love your vlogs so so so much you inspired me so so so much and I will support you till end🤗♥️✨
Hi Jamila! I am a new subscriber on your channel and I got to know about it because your Hailey Bieber video was recommended to me. And I am so grateful for that! I think that maybe you should do more of that celebrity analysis videos so that more people have the opportunity to find out about your beautiful channel and the great job you do as an etiquette consultant! Thank you for all the information that you share with us!
That's great. You seem to have great parents and an innate sense of purpose. I'm sure you were wise beyond your years. Congratulations for all your achievements!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video, you inspire me so much! I really want to study abroad as well to continue my master's studies and experience a new culture. But, since my country is considered a developing country so my parents couldn't afford to pay for the tuition fees and the living cost is much more expensive than in my country, hence I should make it by getting a scholarship. But, I'm still feeling stuck because my parents and other families always put me down, they think I won't get a scholarship because I'm stupid enough and now I'm still feeling burnout for months. Even though I already had some plans to do but I couldn't take an action to move forward. Sometimes, I feel I've given up on my dreams because I'm surrounded by toxic people who always put me down and my mental health isn't strong enough to ignore them. I always binge-watching your videos if I'm feeling in a bad mood. Your video really healed me, inspire me, enlighten me, and you always motivate me to be able to pursue my dreams and become a person like you. I wish one day I can be a successful person like you and meet you in the future! ❤
Thank you Jamila for uploading this video, I always wonder how did you become a Etiquette Consultant? Here you are answering the very question, indeed you always deliver. That was very informative video, truly you love being a etiquette consultant, it fits you very well and you have the knowledge and experience, as always I thank you for taking a time, giving us information and teach us about Etiquette. Sending Peace and Blessings, Carmen
Thank you so much for the insight. I have been in the same shoes as you, looking for books on Etiquette but can hardly find one. Therefore, I have started compiling my manuscript. I hope you wouldn't mind helping me to read them when it's time.
Jamila, love your content and I'm very grateful I found your channel. Wondering if you can help the Engineering Women outhere with some etiquette that can help us keep our femininity and kindness while climbing the corporate ladder, I've noticed that women in power take a lot of male behaviour and manners when they get 'power', what do you think? Please advise us on that topic. Would love to learn and apply your tips. Ps. Note sure if I'm explaining this correctly but hopefully you can get my point.
Loved this one. But I have a suggestion. When you are introducing the names of your books, can you say them more slowly and clearly because its hard to understand what are you saying. Just a small suggestion from a huge fan of yours. Thank you for everything you do❤.
Dear jamila musayeva i am from India, andhra pradesh state . i really want to order your books . I want to know that is shipment of your books is available or not for these place andhra pradesh state in india .
@jamilamusayeva If a person as an etiquette consultant conducts sessions in any school or corporate office or anywhere.. So do they receive any certificate or letter that would prove their experience??
I know this sounds weird but can you please make a video about how to laugh like a lady? I have a wired laugh that’s extremely loud and funny, every time I laugh someone stares at me and I become so embarrassed. I don’t know how to control it.
Wrote this question under the perfume post, but don’t know if you read it any longer, since it’s an older post. I understand you wear a signature perfume. I do too. 😊 However, would like to ask you, do you also own other additional perfums (apart from that one)? I’m thinking, do you vary perfumes from summer to winter, day to night, casuall to special occasions? How many perfumes do you think is a good amount for a ”capsule perfume wardrobe” to ”cover” for all different occasions? Thank you so much! 🌸 Kind regards from Sweden!
With all due respect, you seem to have a very privileged life already. Going to the US to study at a private university and travelling around the world with your parents? Then doing a masters in western europe. But you try to pretend like you worked your way from the ground up when most people in your country are much less fortunate.
She never denied her privilege. In one of her videos actually, she recognized the privileges she received from her parents. Regardless of that, she did have to work hard for her accomplishments. She didn't just graduate Summa Cum Laude (with the highest distinction) by just dozing off, nor did she achieve her Masters and other certifications without putting the work in. She made good use of the opportunities presented to her.
Many privileged people still depend on their parents and are not ambitious or industrious at all. Jamila has worked very hard and is respected because she combines parenting, being a wife, a gym owner, an etiquette consultant, a youtuber, and is engaged in multiple hobbies. She has an abundance mentality and shares her knowledge. She does this with no pretense and with a sense of gratitude.
Thank you so much for this video, it made me feel very inspired. I would love to study Etiquette one day. Much love and greetings from Spain🤍 PS: I need to purchase your books, they look fantastic 🤩
