Here's the thing about being Information Technology careers. At some point very early in your career path, you will be more self taught than anything else bc new things come along and you will either learn and adapt or you will be left behind. The best thing to learn is to learn how to teach yourself.
This has to be one of the most straightforward and benificial video i have search so far in YT. I am trying to get into Data Analyst career in Malaysia but it seems so hard to get enrolled. This video helps me a lot. Please continue doing these kind of video! Thanks sister!
I’v been watching loads of videos trying to piece together a roadmap into becoming a data analyst and it was quite confusing to do as someone with limited knowledge in the tech world in general but ur video made sense of so many unknowns so thank u very much
All the best.
Hypothesis testing is like trying to figure out if a guess or an idea about something is true or not. In the same way, scientists and researchers use hypothesis testing to check if their ideas about something are correct. They gather data and use it to see if their guess is likely to be true or not. Thank you for this video. I requested Chat Gpt to explain hypothesis testing to a child..For example, let's say you and your friends are playing a guessing game, and you think the hidden toy is under a certain cup. You can test your guess by lifting up that cup to see if the toy is really there
@@SundasKhalid Do we need to be sounder in Maths and statistics to become Data analysts or data science? I have basic maths skills but not statistics background. Do we need high IQ to become Data analysts?
I have been self-teaching for a few years. I took a lot of courses (paid and unpaid) and even took a few subscriptions like datacamp. I haven't really gotten anywhere. I do not use analytics as part of my job. But I feel like I can answer a lot of questions with analytics. The way I've been teaching myself is not very structured and I know I need to build projects. I also jumped into Python too quickly and I don't see its applications in anything I do. I think the way I've been learning could be improved. I've been contemplating paying for a bootcamp to get it all done so I can develop new marketable skills that I can apply right away (e.g., being able to able to projects to answer real world questions). I'm not looking to transition into a new career so much as to develop new skills that I could one day apply in my industry or pivot. I have domain expertise but just need to work on the tech skills. This video is very helpful.
Def great tips to get your skill level up to an intermediate/acceptable levels. Also if I may be slightly bold in saying this but you're very pretty !! I do apologise if that came across quite bold
Can you please share your source where you are seeing that an ENTRY level data analyst is making $105k? I know it varies city to city, but 105 seems insanely high, even for a national average. Is this perhaps the high end in a place like CA?
Great video // hope you can do a Video on the sectors | Data Engineer | Data Scientist | Data Analytics Specialist | Data Visualization Developer | and your Insight about the Future of "Data Analytics on the BLOCKCHAIN " thanks.
Ms Sundas Khalid, i have seen your video on share data, an art of visualization (Google analytic professional program certificate), that video was impressive, i thought that you are a lead team member of google !
Communication , story telling , good personality is most skill according to me if you don't have great academic past .... I am worst at it and i don't think I would ever put so much effort on it ....because it's not me
What's your opinion for someone who is transitioning from automation - getting into cyber security will be wise (have some background study knowledge) or get train in Data Analysis to start a career from 2025?
Based on these requirements how long do you think it will take for someone who is brand new? Do you believe google data analytics certificate will be good to have the opportunity to enter in this field? Thank you
When it comes to projects, how 'marketable' it needs to be? Can I build something that has real application, or should I pile up things that emulate the day-to-day job? None of my semifinished projects is very commercial :D
hey there, thanks for this video. can you please make a video on 'where can we practice after learning stats, python and machine learning (data manipulation, data visualization)'.
Good question. I mentioned some platforms in the video for practicing, including Leetcode and StratScratch. Hackerrank is another awesome platform for practicing SQL and Python.
Thanks for the video . I plan to learn be a digital nomad would you say this is the same roadmap required. I’m currently not in the filed so will be starting from scratch
Thanks for your video. What about R? Can you still become a data analyst using R instead of Python? What do you suggest? (I have a programming experience in R of 3 years)
If your goal is to become a date scientist, then you don’t need to become a date analyst first. I did a detailed video on this topic on my channel, you should watch it.
Hi, I am curious about which learning you recommend to get the "Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate" or code academy "Business Intelligence Data Analyst".
If you rate opinion of a stranger, I think power bi is better than tableau. It is more structured since Microsoft is behind it and power bi operates using great data integration tool - power query which is very good for automating reports in excel. I’ve done some cool stuff at a couple of workplaces and I am probably just using 10-20% of what it can do.
I watched a couple RU-vid videos and learned data analytics in less than a month. I got a job making 120k a year in less than a week. Except I didn’t and everything I said was a lie. 😂😂😂😂
Great Great information, thank you. What would you say the stress level of a data analyst/,data analytics career high/over the top or normal amount of stress?
Hello family. Please I'm Soo much interested in learning data analysis on my own but I'm almost giving up because it so hard learning it without laptop and it Mkes me feel very bad 😔
So power bi and Tableau are not required for data analysts if we know Python+Stats+SQL+Excel. I mean the possibility is there to get the job as a data analyst fresher.
I have completed one mid level project which involves sql and power bi(power query, dax, visualization. and cloud.. Also appearing for pl300 microsoft certification. What else do you suggest me to do to get a job asap. Thanks.
When you search for "Google Data Analyst Jobs", thousands of job postings appear. Very good paying positions. Sundas Khalid: What is your consideration about the Google Data Analyst Professional Certification on Coursera.
Hi, I am in a masters program and did not fully understand the relational database behind the SQL coding. What would you suggest to learn the database component?
My daughter Sundas Alsalam Alekom . I am a Saudi Father, my son is planning to study data science. Do you recommend he goes for it ? Thank you my daughter

Would you be able to land a job as data analyst if you got well trained at your own without working practically in a company? and companies would be interested to hire such cases.
