Yes i did . Then after few months pumunta na kmi ng fam ko dto sa canada . Wala akong experience from ph kaya i was hesitant to do this PLA and its a big money din🥲 i wish i tried . But thank God i was hired as a technician . They just asked for my diploma from ph.

Hindi na siguro ako mag titake ng boards kase sabe naman ni ate sa video na no need na mag boards. According to other mlts in canada, mas mabuti daw ang fresh grad. Kaso gusto talaga ng mama ko na mag take muna ako ng boards pero sabe naman ng auntie ko na nasa canada, hindi na raw ako mag titake. Hindi ko pa alam kung saan ako makikinig kase yung auntie ko naman ang kukuha sa akin. Anyway, thank you sa pag reply! ❤️❤️ God bless

Ate bagong graduate po akong medtech mag boboard exam palang po, ask ko lang po kung pupwede ko na kunin ang PLA. Student visa po kasi ako at mag aaral muna ng psw for 1 year at trabaho ng 1 year sa canada as a psw worry ko po kung asikasuhin ko na PLA ko right now baka maexpire lang, thank you po gusto ko lang po malinawan dahil di ko po alam ang gagawin ko :((((

Hi Ate Belle. Ano po yung pinaka-unang step na gawin para makapunta pong Canada if fresh Graduate po? Based po kasi sa mga nareresearch ko unahin daw po muna isend sa WES yung TOR tapos atsaka po aasikasuhin yung pag-aapply sa CSMLS for PLA. Ang naintindihan ko lang po kasi is paano maging registered MLT sa Canada pero paano po yung pag punta na dyan. Secure my WP po ba muna e paano po if wala pa pong offer or mag apply na po ba for EE. Nalilito po kasi ako. Sana po mapansin nyo. Thank you po.
Hello! It’s either you come here as student or tourist to sit for the exam. Dito lang po sa Canada inooffer exam but you can start processing while still in PH. Unahin nyo po muna WES nyo and sila mismo magsend directly sa CSMLS.

I am a graduating medtek student po here sa ph and nabanggit po ni Ms. Chin na ang fresh grad po pwede na agad na mag-exam, however sa website po ng CSMLS nakalagay po na if under IEMLT ka po need pa rin ng PLA. Ang di po ata need ng PLA are graduates from EQUALtm accredited? Sana po ma-clarify hehe. Thanks for inspiring us po 🎉

Saan po kayo nag take ng exam? And lastly, while nag take po kayo ng refresher Course prior to take the CSMLS exam or after po ng exam? Hello! Better iprocess na ang PLA while nasa Pinas just make sure you can come here in Canada immediately when you are for exam already. Refresher course length depends on how many courses you are required to take, but it is usually on your own pace.

Halos same po pala tayo but I'm three years generalist then 2 years microbiologist. Ongoing PLA na din po ako. No histopath work experience but may few experience sa Mole. Sana po I can contact you regarding the Lesson Plan like where you took it kasi feeling ko kakailanganin ko din nun.

Hey, Great video! Do you have to draw blood? And in college do you practise drawing blood on each other? Someone told me this recently and I'm squeamish about needles.
They do in college since they have to know everything about bloods especially when med technologists are always with bloods. Don’t worry because some med tech students also have fears with needles but they have to overcome it in order for them to be ready once they become med technologist. I don’t really know the details in med college cuz I’m still in high school lmao but also hoping to be in the med field someday hehe

Hi. Just apply for the PLA first since you already have a degree in medtech and it is up to them if you can be eligible for the exam. For the med technicians/assistants, CSMLS also offer another exam which is different from the medical technologists. While for the biotech program, there’s no exam/certification needed.

It depends upon the PLA outcome kung eligible agad magtake ng exam. It is really not required magtake ng ascp pero with the recent update, those who took ascp within last 5 years, they only have minimum refresher course,if none. ☺️
