That's great, it's a great career, and I'm glad you liked the video. Btw, you can check out Preppy's Pharmacy Tech course. Here's the link -> StartPharmacyTech.com/
My dad said to start picking things I wanted to do cause he will pay for school. I’m thinking pharmacy tech to start off dibble dabble my feet in other occupations dependent on intake of knowledge eventually I’d like to be a judge or a grand jury.
Hello I am from Senegal. I have worked as a pharmacy tech in my country for 15 years. I am 45years old and I am willing to relocate. Is it possible to pass an exam and get an accredited certificate or diploma. What do you advice?
I am a retired RN, BSN with 40 yrs. experience I had thought about pharm tech but zI don't know if an arthritic person ( knees) would be able to do the job. I wonder.if midnight shift would be less difficult.
I enrolled pharmacy tech last year (im not going to mention the school) and i had trouble how to complete it because i dont have any guide. Yes i do have books and etc...(still with me) but they're not there to support me. Means i can't even get a hold of them if i needed questions. I wasted my money 😢 I want to finish this course but how to start it again? 🤔 thank you
I wouldnt recommend that...the problem with training like this is that it's not an accredited source, and they don't holistically prepare you for that first job. Employers care where you go to school! To put your best foot forward, and to help with your career growth, you want an accredited university certificate, certification, and an externship for experience on your resume! To learn how to get all this without the big price tags or years in a classroom, watch the free masterclass at PharmTechMasterclass.com
Hello I have a question after completing of the pharmacy technician program do you have to do an internship and after completing of the program how will you get the university certificate.
Is it not possible to arrange your externship with a hospital in the evenings or may a retailer that offers evening hours if you work during the day? This would be my only issue
Hey Tricey! Yes, that's totally possible...it's normal that students are already working, and need to coordinate the Externship around that schedule. When you finish, the Externship Coordinator will reach out to match you up, and you'll create the schedule together with the healthcare provider to make it work for you! :)
@@WithGrant thanks for your response. I’m trying to get my foot in the door even if it’s PRN in hospital pharmacy. I start my program next month. Do you think I need to wait on the state trainee license first?
Yes! So with Preppy, you take the program through an accredited university and ready to crush the PTCB exam so you can be a Certified Pharmacy Technician. You provide this when you get your license for California :)
Hello! Thank you for the video. So just to clarify. I currently live in Oregon and will be moving back to Indiana in a few months. So I can take this program and finish it before I move to Indiana and will be certified and ready for the externship when I get there?
Im from Philippines, a bachelor in pharmacy student 3rd year. I want to work in US as pharmacy technician. Do i need to be a registered pharmacist here in Philippines? Will it help me to find job there in US?
You have start here from scratch po. Since 3rd yr ka na sa Pharmacy mo pwede ka mag finish dito mas maganda nga un kaysa graduate ka jan kasi you have to take some units po.

Not at all. Let me answer this in detail -> To enroll in Preppy's Pharmacy Tech Program, all you need is a high school diploma, You can go to this page, startpharmacytech.com/ to enroll. Once you complete the program, you'll get a certificate from the university. This certificate signifies that you've successfully completed pharmacy tech training. After this, you can apply with the PTCB for your certification exam. Just to clarify a certification is a professional credential that you earn after passing a standardized exam (In this case the CPHT exam conducted by PTCB) Essentially, once you pass the exam, you're a Certified Pharmacy Tech by PTCB. So Preppy, prepares you for the career as well powers you with the skills to crush the certification exam. After Preppy, you can apply & sit for the PTCB exam to obtain your certification. I hope this answers your questions. Let me know if there's anything else :)
Hey Benson, absolutely...the entire program is in partnership with a well known accredited university! When you finish the program, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion from the university 😀
Hey, The PTCB is valid in Guam as well. So, after completing the Preppy program, you can apply for the PTCB exam and obtain your certification. Thanks :)
