Great video. Thank you very much for sharing. I looked into this years ago and it isn't for me. I get asked all time from new members, "How do I become a breaker?" I'll be sharing this video. Great job on the TikTok channel too. Do you see much cross over from TikTok customers to youtube subscribers? What is the motivation to be a breaker? Is it money? Is it addiction to rip wax? Great info on getting access to a dist. Are they the only resource you are using to get products? Do you buy online too? Are you flipping retail? What is your plan to get allocation of products? I suggest buying direct products when you can like FOTL, Elite Basketball (Friday) Topps T206? Are you in Facebook groups for dealers and store owners? Breaking is very competitive. You mention a few breakers were helpful sharing information. Did you find some where protective of their business? Have you looked into Facebook breaks? Lots of Facebook breaks with great infrastructure. Instagram doesn't seem as secure and open to more fraud IMO. You ever hear of Breaker.Tv? It was before Twitch, I think. Why did you spend so much on the 2nd camera? Have you looked at using eBay to sell teams and fill breaks? You can build customers too. Did you check out BreakerCulture? I subbed, and want to make the breaks better for the audience. I added a tv in the background to have meditation videos looping in the background. I don't know if it maybe overboard, but wanted the background entertaining at least.
Would love to start breaking basketball cards because its a lot of fun but have no clue where to find any inventory at prices low enough to make any sort of profit or even break even haha
I work for a card shop and we already do breaks. Im really looking to upgrade the setup. I was there for the setup part. Thanks for the infos... that camera is really over the top. I dont think we can pay for a 2k worth camera right now! XD

Hey I know this is beyond late for a comment as it was posted over 2 years ago. But I’m going to go through the rest of your videos to see if you’ve put out anything to answer my question. I’ve been in the card business for a while now but I just now recently got my ROI in a position to where I can do some really fun breaks!! However I’ve never done a streaming break, any time I’ve done a break everyone that was involved was in the shop or wherever we were gathering for the event. I want to start going live and be able to keep the videos on RU-vid. I need to figure out exactly what all I need to get started doing live breaks…and it actually look like it’s being professionally done. I can’t pull off what you have for a setup. It’s just not in the budget right now. There has to be a cheaper and easier way to do it and look good. Right now, all I have is my laptop and my iPhone. Help me please.

Absolutely awesome video. Did my first break last week, have another one Wednesday and then Friday. Biggest thing is building that audience since it makes it so much easier to fill. For now I plan on just receiving payments through PayPal since I won’t have the product/income to make a store/business etc due to college and not having a job atm. Only question I have is what are your rules/policies? I’ve made a list but I’m sure I’m forgetting something
This was great info as you I saw a video and I was hooked. To something that I would like to do. Being a disable veteran . It will be kinda tricky to remember as had died for over 10 mins but if my own doing as it was from something beyond my circumstance. Etc etc etc . But anyways I hope to try and get it up and going. And hopefully I can do. And I am giving my self so many weeks per a episode and total of 9 months to research. Develop. & Put into motion a plan to succeed. And tada giving me the best way to attack and enjoy than to fall and give up. So best of luck moving forward to you. And maybe hopefully teaching this 60 year old vet. What would be a good desk mount for an iphone to do my videos? Also what you advice for a cheap mic and a mount for the mic so it's not on the desk when I do a break?
Breakers are just Scalpers 2.0. Feeding on same gambling/FOMO mentality. Most lose in a break and a scalped price product.! The gambling mentality doesn't remember all the losses.
I'll subscribe to your channel. As a hobby lover and collector, I would love to run a a break and eventually a card shop and big breaks and such, probably won't happen or if it does not for a long wile lol
Excellent video. I plan to look around, but I'm looking for info on how they decide the prices to charge for teams. I know on release day, most will do randoms until the checklist comes out. I know I can simply go to a break site and copy their prices, but I find it hard to price older product that I can't compare to other sites. Any advice would help!!

Retail sales taxes are usually paid quarterly. That info is state specific, once you obtain. Your TPT tax number from your state they will inform you of how and when to pay them.
