So what's going on here? Is this mission set not done by the SOC community anymore? I've been retired from the Army since 2010 so this is a new thing. It sounds like a more organized version of what BCTs were tasked to do back in my time of training Iraq Security Forces and Afghans Forces too.

Think abt the SFAB as taking the partner force advising mission away from the GBs so they can focus on things that only they as SF can do. SF can focus on maintaining and training higher level skills, conducting FID and UW in much more contested environments than SFAB, while SFAB has slightly more specialization into that specifically non-SOF partner force advisory mission

lmao what is with the army and doing some of this IET type shit? i understand they're trying to assess teamwork and such but come why are they out there doing the confidence course in ACH with no cover? this aint red phase arent these all ncos?
