the best confidence builder is what u accomplish: getting amazing grades doing acts of kindness regularly (working for a charity) doing work well (like u give ur 100%) basically u do something that makes u feel PROUD-- it changes u inside believe me. and the more work u put it the harder it took to accomplish the more proud u are self-discipline is an EXTREME self-confidence builder
It's great to accomplish things and gain a sense of self pride, but we have to be careful about that. Then you're building self esteem and self confidence by attaching it to accomplishment alone. Also, self-discipline can be easily used by people who still feel unconfident, it doesn't make them more confident. Confidence comes from a sense of peace with you are, regardless of accomplishment, or habits. I think volunteering is an awesome act of generosity and awareness, but it's not an accomplishment as much as it's moreso, placing your gain (accomplishment) aside to serve a cause or need greater than you.
