Great video but the part about the negative ground could have been done better

very useful advice, thank you. I have a pajero that I cannot start. The engine cranks but very weak. The battery voltage was 12.7V but the voltage between solenoid positive and ground during cranking was approx 1V. Any advice on this situation?

Great vid, couple of questions: 1) If I want to test the solenoid, and not the starter, I disconnect the power joining strap? 2) I have a 13.2V, 26 amp power supply in my shed. Would this be enough amperage to work just the solenoid (hence disconnecting the motor), or do they need waaaay more than that?

First, how much power(ampire) does this starter consume? Second, is it possible to operate this starter for 20 continuous minutes?

my car drops down to 10.5v when starting is that ok?
