I have tried to bend my peterson system's stem using hot water..i put in the hot water..it became soft and easy to bend it..

Just found your channel - appreciate the info. How does one go about straightening a bent stem so they can open up the draft hole? I received the often praised 320KS Savinelli for Father’s Day, but was greatly disappointed in my first smoke. The disappointment came in the terrible draw of the stem. First off, the stem hole at the button is about 2mm, and then there’s that slight bend near the end. Hard to believe that Savinelli would put such a small draft hole on such a huge stem? Especially when the pipe is designed for a filter - which already restricts air flow. So, what’s happening is where that 2.0mm draft hole is bent it’s leaving such a reduced window for smoke to be drawn through it that it feels like I’m trying to suck peanut butter through a straw when simply seeking to light my pipe. I’m sorry but that’s a terrible design. I want to open up that hole, but I don’t know how to safely straighten the stem - let alone get it back to shape. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
