Great video. I enjoy all your bentwood ring videos - your methods are a bit different to many others on RU-vid and are very informative and more down to earth. I wish you'd do more on here.
Great videos I am just starting but have learned more from your videos than any others, You have a no nonsense approach and don't allow any defects or issue to get through very inspiring to me, could you tell me what mini lathe you are using im using a drill powered lathe at the moment and not getting great results although i may need sharper tools Thanks again.Dave
Thankyou for your comment 👍 At the moment I just use one of the cheap mini lathes that you can get on amazon or ebay. I think if your going to actually turn a ring on one then they are probably going to be the same as your drill. I myself dont turn on it with chisels etc. Doing inlay chanels and sanding and finishing is fine on them. I know a few people that use the Proxxon db250 small lathe and thats meant to be really good and is also not too expensive, so may be worth checking those out.
