You know it's important to create content, but unless you know how to plan and organize the creation of that content, you'll either get confused and start to feel overwhelmed, or slack off and fall behind.
We don't want any of that.
In this video, I'll show you how I use Notion as a content creator. It's a tool I've been using for the last 6 months to organize my content creation that has saved me so much time and stress, I wanted to finally pass on how I use Notion to you.
From collection your content creation ideas, to how to move them from ideation through production and finally into publication, I'll show you exactly how to organize this tool for your needs, using examples from a few of the platforms I create content on.

Great to inside your Notion workspace, Pat. I do something similar for my content calendar using a KANBAN board. What’s great about Notion is that you can also have templates for something like a RU-vid script/outline so you can click the option once and it pre-fills with you script structure.

Dude, I’m liking the simplicity of this. Other tools I’ve looked at are complex and overwhelming to me and it seems you spend more time using the tool than working on your processes.

I personally prefer Obsidian for this kind of thing. It doesn't come with all the same features (e.g. timeline or kanban board) out of the box, but there are loads of plugins that add whatever functionality you're missing, and even beyond that since it is highly extendable. You can write notes in a similar way in Notion, but Obsidian is more suited for writers and people who enjoy writing and connecting different notes together. The only caveat is lack of full cross-platform support but they're working on that as well.

I see the attraction to Notion. But missing so many basics like recurring tasks! I want recurring tasks to keep track of routine things I need to do weekly managing a channel.

What about obsidian, with the plug-ins you can currently do almost as much as notion in some systems, and more then notion in other areas. With the ability to completely own your notes, transfer them where you want them to be, choose who sees them, and update or modify obsidian exactly how you see fit.

I just use google Drive & colander...folders for ides & planning, folder for scripts, videos etc. & can share to others. Maybe I need to watch this again cos I'm not sure it's a huge advantage.

Companies started having content creators do the ads as part of their videos because they realized everyone uses ad block.

And also because nobody trusts ads, but people trust the content creators that they follow and their opinions. Influencer marketing is big, and combine that with affiliate marketing and you have a great win-win situation!

I am trying to see the difference between Notion Boards, timeline (gaant chart) etc. from other products. I guess your video does not cover those points. I will try and see if I can discover differences between Jira. Thank you

You have to be consistent in RU-vid and understand the algorithm. Views will climb now that I’m showing up more. Just cause you’re popular in one place doesn’t mean you will be in another. ❤️
