Hello Jeanette, as always you appear just in the right time. I have to glue 5 rings with pearl pegs. I will mix the glue for a longer time and I think I used too much glue, because I was always afraid that the pearl could get off. Before cured, excess epoxy glue is removed easily and cleanly with a little alcohol - hand sanitiser or gin are both ideal!

When you use wire in the inner bezel to prop up the stone, would you always use gold (for gold) and silver (for silver)? It seems almost wasteful…especially when working in such and expensive metal as gold. Have you used anything else that you can recommend?
