Betaflight
Betaflight is flight controller software (firmware) used to fly multi-rotor craft and fixed wing craft. This fork differs from Baseflight and Cleanflight in that it focuses on flight performance, leading-edge feature additions, and wide target support.
Flight Controller (FC)
A flight controller (FC) is a small circuit board of varying complexity. Its function is to direct the RPM of each motor in response to input. A command from the pilot for the multi-rotor to move forward is fed into the flight controller, which determines how to manipulate the motors accordingly.
Radio Transmitter
The common frequencies used in FPV drones are 2.4GHz and 900Mhz. 2.4GHz is the standard nowadays for radio control thanks to its frequency hopping technology, which manages channel automatically to avoid interference between pilots. 900MHz is another popular frequency mostly used in long range flying.

Thanks for the video. Just ordered the same tinyhawk and remote in this video. May I ask, what are the default functions of all the switches on top of the remote for the tinyhawk? Does one of them change the rate profile for 1-2s operation?

hi mate, you change the rates via beta flight of smart audio via the osd control, the controller comes set with arm, buzzer, and acro, horizontal, and stabilized for flights - thats about the standard on it.

hi - your previous binds will still be there and ready to use, you don't need to re-bind anything

Dear Datfpv love your videos ! I can't get the Tinyhawk S to arm or the motors to move. I am using a BetaFPV II SE and Tinyhawk S with Betaflight. In Betaflight, I can see the reaction to movements on the BetaFPV II SE, I can turn on and off the motors in Betaflight. But when I unplug the Tinyhawk S from the computer the Tinyhawk will not arm and I cannot get the motors to turn. Suggestions? Thank you !

How can you change the switch function to match the cetus pro. With the cetus pro s/a arms and disarms. S/b changes from altitude hold/normal and acro Sd activates turtle mode. Sc changes speed from low mit nd high. The tiny hawk doesnt match this and doesnt have all the same features

When I tried to change the protocol on that beta FPV controller I don’t hear any motor sound when I’m holding the bind button in and then I hear when you’re doing it You can hear it so I can’t tell if this thing is doing anything other than it’s not binding but I don’t hear those motors you say starting in between protocols of setting the bind on the controller I need help!

hey - no, bind once and the controller wil remember them all, no need to re-bind at all.

Hi - yes it will work with any quad with a 'frsky' receiver in it.. as long as the controller is the frsky version.

Hi, I wonder if you could kindly help again. All bound perfectly and drone worked nicely for a few days. Now won't take off. Motors all working. I felt the downdraft underneath - it did seem as if there was more draft from two of the motors, but it looked like they were all going round at the same speed. Thanks..

this doesn't seem to work any longer. I have the literadio 2 SE version. I press bind on the transmitter and it flashes red for 10 seconds and then back to blue but the TH22 blue LED stays solid. I've check all settings etc to make sure everything is in D8 mode etc. Just won't bind. Seems like some others are having issues with the SE version maybe?

hey - I have heard there maybe a little issue with the se version... there is a firmware update out there though that will sort the issue out.

cool - the rates on this are for the 1s and 2s battery. - there should be 3 different flying modes available, acro, horizontal and stabilized

hey - I think all it is - is you need to set the controller to one of the d16 modes and it should bind with no problems, you will probably have to do more set-up in betaflight.. maybe.

@@Datfpv also does it need a battery because on the beta fpv website it showed a picture of a battery and the radio did not come with the battery and for some reason the drone is connected but it is doing a beeping sound and there are lights flashing

you must have the SE version then. that controller has a built in battery you can't see. You will need to charge it though via the usb port. It sounds like it is bound though, you now need to follow the other video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GMXLffuxZpk.html if this doesn't work - check you are bound? - and the controller might need a firmware update...

@@Datfpv thank you for responding to my son. Dad here trying to sort things out. He does have the SE version. We've been through all the steps but it doesn't work. I think it is bound - if I toggle switch C and the drone responds by beeping, like it did in your video, does that mean it is? If is is bound, you mentioned a firmware update. Thanks again..
