You have to press and release the brake levers quite a few times, but then it works indeed. Thanks a million!

This is a useful and quick way to remove air at the lever/plunger. It will do absolutely nothing for air in a caliper or line. PS. Why did you remove air from the syringe if you then just dripped brake oil into the plunger, lol? Removing air only afftects a closed system.
