I recently began to paint with acrylics on my own. (I did four large paintings with groups of friends or co-workers where we copied a pre-determined image. It was fun and worked out well but it inspired me to try it on my own.) Thank you for sharing your information and experience!

I've actually walked away from acrylics for a while and have been actively learning watercolor because I needed a break, but now I can't wait to get back to a canvas thanks to this lesson! I've always had issues with my transitions and seeing this was like having a lightbulb light up over my head. I enjoyed this clip. I used to do art at school but that was 20 years ago! I want to get back into it but I’m so rusty that is quite daunting. This excercise is the perfect way to ease back into it. You have a very encouraging manner. Keep up your video’s they really are valuable!

I just did this exercise for the 1st time. It is definitely not as easy as it looks. Took me about 90 min (am just learning to paint). Tried this on a cheap pad of heavyweight bleed-Free paper. Worked well enough to practice these fundamentals. A good exercise indeed. Thank you Clive from 🇺🇸!
