I just found you're videos and they are so helpful! I'm learning a great deal...as I am a self taught artist/painter. Your videos are nicely done, step-by-step! Thank you for your RU-vid videos!!!
Clive, I love your videos! I'm so thankful that you always take advantage of teachable moments instead of just painting a picture. You're my #1 go to when I need to learn how to do something.
I am 68 years old and just started to paint. Intimidated as hell, but having a blast learning. Thank for good tips and I promise you to practise, practise and then practise some more!!
Clive, you make it look so easy that it's very inspirational for new painters to feel they can attempt to do it themselves. Thanks for doing this, showing that ppl can increase their skills levels rapidly by painting a sphere.
Thank you so much for that lesson I've been trying to find how to blind acrylic without needing to use too much water for over 2 month your the best thanks again 🤗
Excellent tips, love the tip about keeping brushes moist. I will certainly be putting that into practice, and the blending techniques too. Thanks for sharing
I recently began to paint with acrylics on my own. (I did four large paintings with groups of friends or co-workers where we copied a pre-determined image. It was fun and worked out well but it inspired me to try it on my own.) Thank you for sharing your information and experience!
Thank you SO much for this lesson. it appears that it took its time making its way to my recommended videos, but boy was it worth it. I've actually walked away from acrylics for a while and have been actively learning watercolor because I needed a break, but now I can't wait to get back to a canvas thanks to this lesson! I've always had issues with my transitions and seeing this was like having a lightbulb light up over my head. Thanks for all of your videos, I've been a subscriber for a while and have learned a lot from you over the past couple of years, and now this too!
Thank you Clive for the lesson and inspiration! I’m in a bit of a painting slump and you inspired me to practice blending with spheres. You’re the best
I’ve been stuck on medical bed rest and came across this video in my addiction to painting videos (while I can’t paint myself) and I think I’ll now be doing some more technique based/skill lesson paintings when I’m able to paint again! Thank you!
I enjoyed this clip. I used to do art at school but that was 20 years ago! I want to get back into it but I’m so rusty that is quite daunting. This excercise is the perfect way to ease back into it. You have a very encouraging manner. Keep up your video’s they really are valuable!
thank-you sooo much. as a painter there is always some thing new and wonderful to learn especially from an A-1 expert/artist like you , Clive --you have taught me so much and in a fun way can't wait for your next video
I just did this exercise for the 1st time. It is definitely not as easy as it looks. Took me about 90 min (am just learning to paint). Tried this on a cheap pad of heavyweight bleed-Free paper. Worked well enough to practice these fundamentals. A good exercise indeed. Thank you Clive from 🇺🇸!
