Misleading your viewers will eventually lead to nothing but losing them from clicking on your videos next time, for now I'm reporting misleading so that others won't have to waste their time + I request others to do the same.
They will not do it due to it support of certain media if a block was allowed there would be a decrease in the viewership those channels receive as YT pushes them ahead of independent media channels.
Sometimes those options don't appear. I have tried this method, and occasionally, that freaking channel still pops up in my algorithm because I listen to similar channels with same content. I particularly can't stand one channel and I just ignore it or give it a thumbs down rating without listening to it.

This video is way too complicated. I spent way to much time, clicked on the 3 dots as you said, and nothing worked other than the very first one (not interested). All of the rest of the recommendations didn't work! As of this posting, I am still getting the channel I DO NOT want.
It sounds like there might be some changes or issues with the RU-vid interface. If you’re still having trouble, try going to the channel’s page directly and look for the option to block or report there.
I would like to block a stalker that's bullying me and this "NO BLOCK" option does not help at all. OMG - THEY ARE so eager to block EXCELLENT comments that are TRUE & LIFESAVING, but they condone, protect and help bullies that attack innocent girls by preventing victims from blocking stockers.
Sorry to hear. Their blocking feature isn't a perfect system and still allowing content through. Try the 'Not Interested' option and 'Don't recommend channel' options.
I had a person say something mean and nasty to me from a comment on someone else's channel. Why can't I find how to block them? They just commented and never posted videos on their channel.

it doesnt work Ive been pressing do not recommend channel and you can be 100% sure the same video will always be on my suggestions, not interested doesnt work either they keep coming back like the plague, im at the point im gonna stop using youtube soon the recommendations just dont work
You are spot on with everything you say, the options vary from one video to another, and the ones one is trying to block continue to haunt me more persistently than ever, makes me wonder if it is deliberate

@@TrevorNace yep.. it's been a while since I've had to block someone here, than when I tried it, there was no option, the guy went on and on with his insults, I finally just deleted my whole comment, so he couldn't respond anymore! 🤦
