It's watching ads...FULL STOP! I refuse to buy or use any product or service that is forced down my throat by way of pop-up ads. If I want to buy a product or service, I will actively go and search for it myself. Ads 100% do NOT work on me. They have the complete opposite effect.

Dude oh my god thank you! I hated the new way RU-vid was blocking some ad blockers, so I had to deal with watching ads and now the ads have become worse. You CANNOT SKIPS ADS ANYMORE, there's maybe a chance to get those skippable ones but most of them are 15 seconds long and there's 2 ads you can't skip.

doesn't work for me. RU-vid is blocking my account from watching any video without downloading the ads. I tried different youtube blockers but it doesn't work. It shows me a black box with two buttons "turn on ads" and "pay premium". I can't watch anything. Same will happen to you guys after you watch lots of videos and will have lots of subscriptions

I have a iPhone 11. RU-vid ads all over the place in my RU-vid app. I downloaded the ad blocker on my phone. While it won’t block ads in my RU-vid app, it does work if I use my Safari browser and go to RU-vid. I can search for something I want to watch on RU-vid and there are no ads. I am not logging in or clicking to visit the site so basically I don’t know if I’m signed in. I have no problem with ads so far. This will work well for videos so I can sleep. I do have an android tablet I’m gonna try it on and I haven’t tried it on my Lenovo computer yet with chrome extension.

The problem is: I use a PC and several browsers like Edge or Firefox. I installed an ad blocker, but RU-vid saw it and blocked my video until I turned off my ad blocker. Oh man, this is why I hate RU-vid so much.

However, on Firefox everything is fine. I hope this situation doesn't last. I never really minded the ads when they were only at the beginning of the videos but when they started interrupting the video with more ads, simply to drive people insane and make them pay for premium, I was out.

It's hilarious on two levels. First off, you've posted a video on blocking RU-vid Ads (which in turn is the source of your own Channels income). The next thing is the guy on that ad Ankur Warikoo always pops up in my ads and it's funny because I was fed up with these RU-vidrs promoting their almost scammy courses. 😂

@@papin6802 Tbh, I don't know the exact criteria YT uses to pay off RU-vidrs. From what I've learned from RU-vidrs themselves, the view doesn't mean anything.The higher the views, more chances of ads being seen without skipping and only when that happens shall they get paid. I think YT still pays even if someone skips the ads but probably a small amount compared to someone who watches it fully. I'm not sure though! ✌️🥂
