Just to correct something here: Barrett did a really great job, but her comment on pre-drying should have come with a disclaimer. If you are planning to blowout naturally curly, coarse, or frizzy hair, you want to keep each section you work on "towel-dried" wet. You want to keep those hydrogen bonds in the hair nice and broken so you can put them back together in the shape and texture you're trying to achieve. Doing it this way may take longer, but in some cases the shortest route isn't always the best.

Nice tutorial! I didn't notice you mention anything about using a cool shot. When I do my blow-dries I usually use the cool shot button, do you use it?
