How To: Replace / Repair the Gear Selector Switch Indicator Circuit Board on a 2015 BMW i8
The first repair done on our BMW i8.
It was simple enough to do. But of all places to find the part, Aliexpress has the best price! (Not a sponsor, just making that clear...)
Having the shifter board available there, means that this is a common failure on this vehicles, not just on an i8.
By the time we are done repairing this vehicle, all the parts would have been made in China. So German car, but China maintained.
