cheat code for front board is to get those plastic rails that Dan Corrigan always use. Now regarding the weight issue, practice front side rock and roll on a quarter pipe to get the motion. quick tips: approach parallel on the obstacle, keep most of the weight on your popping side (left for regular and right goofy) and then the crucial tip is the front foot, put just enough pressure on it that you're board is flat on the rail, putting too much weight will cause to go fakie and putting not enough weight/ pressure will cause you to slip and hurt yourself. hope that helps
My biggest struggle with this trick is committing to standing on top of the rail once I've ollied on to it. I've no idea why but it trips me out so bad. I'm taking my sweet time to learn this trick but your tutorial already helps a ton. Thank you for this.
I casually went to go ghost watch my favorite skate tutorial channel and then saw in the thumbnail that he was at my local park lmao!!! Shoutout to Tom for skating in O'side, you earned a new sub today bro
This comes in no better time! Boardslide has always been my weak point, even when I can hold front board long and blunt, feeble, 5050, etc. I think slipping out and hit my coccyx that once cause me hard to commit. Anyway, thanks for your tutorials. They have always been helpful throughout my skateboard journey.
Center of the tail is good advise. I bought some new shoes, first cup soles I’ve had in a while, and I kept accidentally setting up with the ball of my foot on the edge like I would for popping into a manny. Was driving me insane.
I find your tutorials very helpful, I wish this one was up before last Tuesday when I recorded relearning board slides. Anyways, would love to see a bunch of rail variations, back boards, 50s, 5.0, and more.
Hey tom yo tengo un problema de desgaste de cadera por patinar y escucho que tu pusiste células madre en tu rodilla y quiero saber si realmente funcionan?
So far it’s made quite the difference in my knees and even other parts of my body, but I’m taking it slow and giving it time before I can really say. It’s the best thing you can do for your body by far either way.
😂❤ you guys are awesome. I feel bad making you wait in between tutorials, but just know you’re all always on my mind and I’m doing my absolute best for you! 👊
