I feel like inverts were my transition maneuver into the next level of maneuvers. Something about focusing on boosting as high as possible made me pay more attention to learning to go as fast as possible etc, proper turning and all that. People say my invert/roll is stylish - those are fun and I recon pretty easy. Anyways - always sick vids Ian.
Well, I appreciate the advice on all of these tricks! I am just too darn old to be landing in the flats on most of those tricks! Thanks for show and tell though! Your the best 👌
this might seem like a silly question but do you "hop" off the lip for ARS and Flips or do you totally rely on speed? do you kind of try hop or spring off the lip? I do it when I try air reverse off a wedge.
Sometimes you need to get that hop but most of the time it isn’t really needed if you have speed. I would say, when you hit the section a bit early, the hop is needed otherwise it’s never needed.
@@iaincampbell_ NGL, most backflips looks like crap unless they half/full turn or continue. Fav move to watch is air backward (alley hoop), looks so natural. PS: Manage to get a big board for my weight (I hope) a few days back. Lets see what a fatty 48 year old can do :D (still looking for a suit though) This will be the first time in 30 years after a back compression fracture (completely unrealated accident, bluntly an 8m fall).
