How to BOOST FPS in VALORANT (Valorant Tips) 

Lol if you believe that will boost fps you are dead wrong.

Its completely useless to boost fps (if your pc is already capable of reaching your monitor's refresh rate)

Everybody I know in high elos uses that way even with really good computers

Nvidia reflex keeps the gpu buffer clear so if you have an Nvidia gpu you don't need v sync

So if I just get a new monitor and connect it to my laptop (not a gaming laptop btw) I can get higher fps?

@@kati192 well no not necessarily. It would only give you what your laptops gpu can push out. So in order to get the absolute highest fps you would need a decent graphics card (3060 or higher), a monitor that can push the fps rates you want, and turn down your games graphic effects. Games like valorant are actually easier to push high frame rates as compaired to games like Fortnite that eat up everything your computer can possibly give out and still be finicky. My real advice would be to find a used pc with a decent graphics card and go from there. Either that or see if the laptop you have has upgradable gpu’s you can install yourself. Computer are dumb like that and it’ll probably always be like that. Hope that helps.

same processor but i got rx 6600.. i got 300fps. avg in 250. the game heavily cpu dependant. maybe your cooling isnt right? or your ram?

v sync matches your fps with your refresh rate. so if you have a 60 hz monitor, you’ll be at 60 fps, 144 hz = 144 fps, etc. so if you want more fps, keep it off so it doesn’t have a cap

​@@Kr1pyt cause all it does is making it so ur CPU pretty much always runs at 100% and can't clock down. If it runs like shit at 30-40% (for Valo that said) it will also run shit at 100%, maybe even worse. Your CPU will properly clock up when it needs to. A CPU going to 100% on Valo is fairly rare

i don't even have that option.
